DISCLAIMER: I don’t own any of
the CCS characters. I think Clamp
does. I only own the story. Please don’t sue me! You’ll be sadly disappointed if you do!
WARNING
AND OTHER THINGS: I’ve decided to make them both be 17 in this. Plus, this is S+S all the way! Plus, since I accidentally left Saran out of
my other fic, I’ll put her in this one.

Can you tell?
Chapter One
J
Can you tell if he really likes you? I don’t know; I’ve never known. But I sure wish I did. Adorable brown hair, wonderful brown eyes,
and fighting skills that would make anyone think twice about challenging
him. In case you’re wondering, my name
is Kinomoto Sakura and the guy I’m talking about is Li Syaoran. I don’t know how, but some way or other, I
fell in love with him.
Can you tell if she really likes you? I don’t know, I’ve never known. But I sure wish I did. Lovely short brown hair, gorgeous emerald
green eyes, and a heart of gold that would make the strongest of men melt. In case you’re wondering, my name is Li
Syaoran and the girl I’m talking about is Kinomoto Sakura. I don’t know how, but some way or other, I
fell in love with her.
Now that you’ve met the main
characters, on with the story.
How can you tell if someone likes you as much as you like
him or her? That was the problem both
Sakura and Syaoran were trying to solve.
Neither one of the two teens could realize that the other person felt as
strongly as they did. Did that
make any sense? Yes? Good.
No? Too bad. MAKE it make sense!
“Li-kun, matte! What’s
the big hurry all of a sudden?” asked Sakura as she caught up to Syaoran. “I thought the idea was to walk to school together,
not running a marathon!” Syaoran
blushed a deep red.
“I’m sorry Sakura-Chan.
I just don’t want to be late,” he lamely explained. Sakura’s look was one of pure puzzlement.
“Li-kun, school doesn’t even start for another hour. There’s no way we’re gonna be late!” Before Syaoran could defend himself any more
lamely, Tomoyo ran up to them.
“You guys will never guess what my dad got me!” she exclaimed as
she reached them.
“A new camera?” guessed Sakura.
In an instant, Tomoyo produced a brand new video camera out of her
school bag.
“Yup! Now I can tape you
guys even better than before! Oh
hohohoho!” she cheerfully chortled.
Both Syaoran and Sakura got huge sweat drops on the side of their heads.
“That’s…great, Tomoyo-Chan,” Sakura barely choked out. Tomoyo kept up her insane laughter all the
way to school.
THE NEXT DAY
“Sakura, there’s something I need to tell you. You see, I’ve been in love with you for the
past seven years and I need to know how you feel for me,” practiced Syaoran in
front of his mirror. “Nah, that’ll
never work. *sigh* Oh, Sakura, how are you doing this to me?” Just then, someone knocked at his front
door. He opened it to find the last
person he ever expected to visit him.
“Saran?” he croaked. The
bouncy fifteen-year-old girl bounced right into his apartment.
“I’ve decided that since you’re my favorite cousin, I’ll help
you out with your problem,” she announced.
“WHAT problem?!” he demanded. She giggled to herself happily.
“Why, your LOVE problem, of course!” she answered. “All of Hong Kong knows of your feelings for
Sakura!”
“N-nani? Nani yo?”
“But don’t worry! Saran
the matchmaker is here to help you! *giggle* With my help, you’ll be on a date with our
dear card mistress in no time!” Syaoran
could only stand in shock.

Will Saran really be that good of a matchmaker? Why was this chapter so short? Will I even type more to this story? Stay tuned and find out! Okay?
Great!
