Just so you know, Sakura is my cousin in this. Chris is my boyfriend. We're from America. (no duh!)
A fae is a magical creature made up of pure magic. Their only weakness is iron (you can use it to either kill or control them).
In Shakespear's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Disney/Buena Vista's Gargoyles, they are refered to as Oberon's Children. Puck(Robin Goodfellow) is kewl!
"What's that supposed to mean?" Syaoran looked at his love's cousin.
"I have no idea. Anyway, there's another prophecy right here in yet another unknown language," he answered. Sarah rolled her eyes.
"If it's unknown, then how do you, the Chinese boy, know it?" she demanded. He smirked at this.
"Simple, I have magic." He then went on to read the second prophecy.
"Love is there for you but then it leaves you. Believe not your friends; trust only your enemy. You must care only for yourself." Sarah was truly puzzled.
"Why you didn't want Chris, Sakura, or Kero to come is beyond me," she said. This time it was Syaoran's turn to roll his eyes.
"Simple," he said. "I didn't want Sakura to come because she needs to rest, I obviously don't want the stuffed animal bugging me, and if Chris was here, you wouldn't be able to think."
"Whatever," was her only reply.
"Come on, I KNOW you have some powers!" he yelled. "Whenever I'm near you, I feel like I'm feeling the strongest magical aura in the universe!"
"FINE! You wanna know what I am?" At his nod, she continued. "I'm a stinkin' fae! Ya hear me? A FAE!"
"Really?" he asked.
"Yeah," she answered. "My father's Puck. My mother was murdered by some weirdo with an iron knife."
"That explains a lot, actually," he said. "By the way, um, why were you trying to hide it from us? Does Chris know?"
"'Does Chris know'. Of course he knows! He's also a fae! Oh, and I wasn't hiding it at all. Now CHRIS is hiding it. I was just waiting to see how long it would take you to notice anything."
The two teens talked a bit longer and tried to make sense out of the two prophecies, but couldn't. After leaving Syaoran's apartment, Sarah walked to Sakura's house (author: hey, where else would she stay?)
