The snow gently fell to the ground as Sakura gazed out her bedroom window.
The young Card Mistress couldn't help but think about her beloved warrior.
'Christmas Eve is tomorrow,' she thought to herself. 'I wonder what he's
doing right now.'
"Hai, moshi moshi," he greeted.
"Hi, Syaoran, it's Sakura." Syaoran couldn't believe his beloved angel
was actually calling him. Him! Not someone else, but HIM!
"S-Sakura!" was all he managed to say after hearing her beautiful voice.
"Syaoran, Tomoyo and I were wondering if you would like to come to our Christmas
party at her house on Christmas." Syaoran blushed as his heart flew.
"H-hai, Sakura."
Syaoran was thinking of his Ying Fa (Sakura) and holding his Christmas present
to her. Before he knew it, his phone was ringing. (author: my best friend went
to Japan for a month in the summer and she told me how they answer their phones. *grin*)
Sakura's heart jumped with joy when he said that.
"Sakura," he started, "will you marry me?" He then pulled out a yellow ring case (author: yellow is the best color in the world!) and opened it to reveal a beautiful diamond engagement ring. Yet all Sakura could stare at was Syaoran.
"HAI!" she yelled as she jumped into his arms. Syaoran smiled blissfully as he slipped the ring on her finger. He then leaned down and gave her a sweet, gentle kiss that was full of love.
"Mmmm...Honey, it's five in the morning..."
"But Mommy, it's Christmas!" Sakura looked at her child.
"All right, Momiji," she relented. "Go meet us in the living room. Okay?" Momiji nodded enthusiastically and ran off. Sakura rolled over to give her husband a weary glare.
"Hey, don't blame me for her excitement!" he said.
"I blame you," she replied. Earlier that week, Syaoran had been telling Momiji that on Christmas Day she had to wake up early. The couple got up, showered, dressed, and walked downstairs.
"Merry Christmas, Ying Fa." Just then, Momiji popped her head into the hallway.
"What about me?" she demanded. Both Sakura and Syaoran chuckled at this.
"Merry Christmas, Momiji," they chimed. With that, they all went into the living room to open presents.
