Protein Powders: |
In my opinion, Optimum Nutrition When Protein is your best bet for the money.
I get this stuff for like 23 bucks for 5 lbs. The taste is pretty good,
even with water. It mixes well too. There are 23 grams of Whey protein
per scoop. I have been using this stuff as my main source of protein
supplementation for the last two years. |
Methoxy Pro by Cytodyne is also pretty good stuff. It also has 23 grams of protein per serving, but
is more expensive. It is about 30 bucks for 26 servings (2 lbs). I
made good gains off this stuff, but I can't say it is any better than the Optimum
Nutrition Whey. Cytodyne claims visible muscle gains in 7 days with the
Methoxyisoflavone ingredient. I dunno about that! |
Universal Nutrition Ultra Whey Pro. This stuff works just as good as the Optimum
Nutrition, and is pretty close in price. 22 grams of protein per scoop,
75 servings per tub. The taste is a little different from the Optimum
brand, not better, and not worse. |
Nitro-Tech. 52 bucks for 4 lbs. They claim this stuff is 24 times better
than regular whey protein. Avoid any muscletech product, they are all
hype and you can get the same stuff cheaper from other brands. |
