| This has been made to educate the simpleminded people out there about the band tool. Tool is probably the most musicaly inclined band of our generation. With songs like "Cold and Ugly" and "Sober" you altimately see why tool is so great. |

| Danny Carey grew up in Paola, KS. He started playing drums at the age of thirteen, He went through high school playing drums and then into college playing . After he graduated from the University of Missouri , He went out to L.A. to work as a studio drummer there he played in bands around L.A. then he found tool but then it was ZAUM. Justin Chancellor grew up in england were he could be seen playing soccer with his brothers and sisters. At the age of eight he began playing the guitar and with his friends he formed the band "PEACH". Peach realeased the album "GIVING BIRTH TO A STONE" and later peach was an opening band for tool. In 1995 Tool was looking for a bass player Justin went to America to be with the band .On January 12th, 1997 he married Ariadne Philippoussis. Maynard James Keenan came to L.A. in the early 90's. He has been the singer and he is a great singer with an amazing voice. Some say he's a bit strange with the way he dresses on stage , but its music who cares waht the person looks like . While Tool was writting songs and going through some things with their record label he did a side project it was called " A PERFECT CIRCLE" that too was a excellent band many thought this too sound like tool but it had its own sound much different then what people originaly thought it too be. Adam Jones was born in Libertyville, Ill. were he played violin but as he got older he grew out of the classical music and grew into the electric sounds of the guitar. His imagination grew into sketches and from that he learned to minipulate three dimentional objects . He was offered a film school scholarship but he refused it to go onto art school. He still had an intrest in film so he moved out to L.A. were he trained in special effects make-up. He worked with Stan winston on a couple of movies . Maynard and Adam got togather and decided to get a band togather while they kept their day job. The rest has been written in history. |
