"Paycheck"

Lyrics Written By Christian Elias On October 4, 2003 At 4:03 A.M.

I've been dealing with my situation since I was sixteen
Every day that goes by I just wish it was all a bad dream
When will I awake to see a better day
And finally know that things have gone my way

I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck
I've got bills piled a mile high up to my neck
I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck
I can't take it anymore my life is a wreck

If there's one advantage though it's my girl who's been nice
She's helped me through the hard times and to think about things twice
I honor the moments I get to go out and party
I dread the results when I come home wasted and sorry

I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck
I've got bills piled a mile high up to my neck
I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck
I can't take it anymore my life is a wreck

I'm guessing life isn't that bad really after all
It's better I enjoy it than drive myself up the wall
I'll keep hoping for a better opportunity to soon come around
So I can fly with destiny and learn where I am bound

I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck
I've got bills piled a mile high up to my neck
I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck
I can't take it anymore my life is a wreck
