"Too Many Memories"

Lyrics Written By Christian Elias On June 23, 2003 At 12:38 A.M.

I can remember as far back as 1980 from when I was only three
Every day that goes by is just another big question mark to me
From time to time I am reminded of things good but yet things bad
My whole life now I just wish that I could have been with my dad

I have too many memories
All shuffled within my dreams
I have too many memories
But just what do they all mean

I remember my mom working so hard to come home and please me
I remember a lot of times when I would do nothing and just watch TV
I remember not that many friends used to come around
I remember always saying the problem was that I was in the wrong town

I have too many memories
All shuffled within my dreams
I have too many memories
But just what do they all mean

I remember going to school and all the years were so rough
I remember trying different jobs but yet it still got tough
I remember movies, concerts, and all the fun things in life
I remember the day I met that special girl who'd make everything seem right

I have too many memories
All shuffled within my dreams
I have too many memories
But just what do they all mean

I remember a lot of times going to church and praying to the Lord
I remember a lot of the calls I made that helped me to open the door
Not a day goes by when I'm not reminded of something from the past
I just want to find a way now to make all of the good times last

I have too many memories
All shuffled within my dreams
I have too many memories
But just what do they all mean
