600 A.D.
This is 600 A.D., where the humans are fighting the Mystics in an epic battle for dominance. This is the world of Frog, Magus and the Masamune.
Frog (AKA Glenn)
Frog is a knight of the Square Table in the Kingdom of Guardia. He holds a grudge against Magus for killing his best friend Cyrus, the Knight Captain of the Square Table. He uses a broadsword and his most powerful weapon is the second version of the Masamune. Frog, being a frog, uses Water magic. His most powerful spell Frog Squash, which is more powerful the lower the HP that you have.
Magus (AKA Janus)
Magus was thought originally thought to be an evil sorcerer who created Lavos. But later on in the game you learn that he's actually summoning Lavos to destroy it. He's avenging his sister, whose powers were sucked into Lavos. I don't want to tell you too much, or else that would ruin the story. His magic is Shadow, which means he can use Fire, Water and Lightning. His most powerful spell is Dark Matter. And yes, you can get him as a character. After the destruction of the Blackbird, go to North Cape. Magus will tell you what happened before Crono and the others were sent there. Then he will ask if you want to fight him or not. Say no and leave. Before you go, he tell you to wait and then he will join you. Pretty cool huh? His weapon is a scythe. I don't know the most powerful weapon he can get, but with his magic, you hardly need to use the scythe.
King Guardia & Queen Leene
The rulers of Guardia in 600 A.D. Queen Leene is kidnapped in the first part of the game.
Fiona
Fiona is the brave woman who replanted the southern forests with the help of Robo.
Toma
Toma is a great adventurer, looking for rare artifacts all over the world.
Flea
Flea is one of the Mystics. Man or Woman, I don't know, so I'll call Flea a her, since I saw a picture of Flea as a female. It is a very annoying boss, only second to Magus. It casts all these spells that affect your status.
Slash
Slash is supposed to be an expert swordsman and a formidible boss, but I beat him in 3 minutes so I think he's a weenie.
Ozzie
Ozzie is the most lame-o boss ever. The only hard part about fighting him is that you have to get to him first. You don't even have to fight him. Just hit the switches and he drops into a hole!
