| Don Ross Award | Don tried out for the Humboldt Broncos as a defenseman but was cut in the last round of sixty players. He wasn't a big player but his hard work, dedication, and love for the game easily made up for his size. Don was an honest and personable man who held friends as close as family. In recognition of the love, respect, and friendship that Don gave to all who knew him I humbly dedicated this award in his name. The Don Ross Award is presented to the participant who picks the best defenseman in the draft.
