"howdy stranger.. my door is open, come in!
be free to walk around and survey the rooms of my house.
you may stay as long as you like.
I hope to get to know you and be able to call each other by name after this..."
- I was named Christopher, but I go by with many names. It's simple actually. I'm called Chris at home and at DLSU but I'm known as Topher by my high school batch and other close friends. I was born and raised here in Manila, but my awesome folks are Bicolanos (represent! homemade laing!). I have a great family and an awesome set of friends. I'm actually one of those people who's happy with the life they're living, but of course there are some gray areas here and there.
- I'd like to think I have two personalities (everyone has at least two... and I don't mean that in a 'mental disorder' kinda way). Sometimes I'm more reserved and introverted, other times I'm very outgoing and friendly. It all depends. I toyed with the idea of attributing those personalities with my two common names, Chris (the 'calm and collected' one) and Topher (the 'spontaneous, always game' half).
- People often say that I'm hard to read, but really, what you see is what you get. I'd like to believe I'm a considerate, driven and creative (parallelism check, anyone?) person. I'm a thrillseeker. I'd want to go skydiving someday and maybe get a scuba diver's license. I'm also very much into the arts. Music, film, photography, you name it. But the corporate arena also interests me. So I guess that's why I'm taking up a double-degree in Communication Arts and Business Management... I prefer engaging in things that motivate me to work hard because I enjoy what I'm doing. And of course, there's my motto "Always be the best that you can be" and my life's mission (which I coined at a recollection back when I was a sophomore in High School) "Be of service to other people in any way that you can". Though this year, I've come up with another one.. something that will hopefully give me that 'push' to continually improve myself: "compete with nobody but yourself."
