Topline Testimonials
Dear Eileen and
Rick,
My husband thanked
me for finding Topline ABs and I'm thanking you. We are delighted
with our Turok. Lacey says he's the best dog he has ever had.
Turok has boundless energy and anything you want to do he's game, fetching
teh ball, pulling the tug rope, Lacey even put a harness on him the other
day with a weight plate and he walked around with it like it was nothing.
But the really cool thing about him is he can also be laid back.
One of his favorite spots is on the sofa between big and little Lacey playing
video games. He is also a very handsome dog, he is the star of the
block the neighbors admire him when he comes out for a walk. We still
talk about Turok winning the "Novice tug of war" in Virginia when he was
just 9 months old, against the older dogs, it was very exciting, he won
a trophy!! Well, I just wanted you and Rick to know how much we love
our Topline American Bulldog and how much fun we are having with him.
Sincerely,
Lacey and Laura

Eileen,
I have to say,
I've had dogs all my life, but I've never had one like Bo. I can't
believe his personality. I love him so much, he sleeps with me at
night! Billy can't walk up the block without him being admired by
everyone and he gets along so well with people and other dogs! He
loves his treadmill and his weight pulling harness. I can't tell
you how much he has brought to our lives. Thank you,
Eleanor Styles
Dear Eileen and
Rick,
I have wanted to
work with and train dogs for a long time. Having worked with all
other types of animals including horses, I finally decided to look for
something special. After much reasearch, American Bulldogs seemed
to be the ones. I got my first dog, Rock and then another dog Rosie.
They were great fun and loved to play.
Unfortunately, Rosie began to limp and was diagnosed with hip dysplasia,
so I began to look for another dog. I can across your ad and called
Topline. To make a long story shorter, I got Reba. She is the
spark in my day, spirited, driven beautiful and fun! I began training
her with you when Reba was 12 weeks old and she has proved to be a dynamo
both in the conformation ring and with her Schutzhund training. On
Sunday afternoons, she will be biting a sleeve and that evening sleeping
with her head in my lap on the couch. What a great dog! Thank
you Topline!

Dear Ms. Jaworowski
and Mr. Quinn,
My name is Marie
and I am Ed Genova's sister. I had to write and tell you how wonderful
Ike is.
I have always had
a Labrador and Golden Retriever's as pets. They have always been
an important part of my family. I have retrievers because of their
reputation of having great dispositions and they are great family pets.
My Molly is a ten-year old Golden and she is a joy.
Ike has changed
every misconception I had about Bulldogs. He is obedient, loving,
intelligent and very eager to please. He is great with my children
ages 9 and 12, and he is even great with my parents who are seniors.
Ike is so handsome that people always stop and ask about him.
When my brother
first showed me your website I tracked Litter E's progress. I am
so impressed with your website and always look forward to any updates.
I have learned so much.
It is wonderful
to see two people so dedicated to this breed. It is obvious that
you both want to produce healthy, intelligent and good-looking Bulldogs.
Ike is a great
addition to our family and is loved trememdously. I can definitely
see another Bulldog in my future!
Sincerely,
Marie Leach
Rick and Eileen,
Dear Eileen and
Rick,
It took me six
months, but finallyhere are the pictures I promised you. Most
are over two months old now so they really don't do Ike justice.
In the last two or three months he has really filled out and his posture
and coordination has improved. When he sits, he no longer looks all
floppy. (I kind of miss that floppy puppy thing though).
Ike
is my best bud; I try to bring him with me wherever I go. Three times
a week or more we go to a large park by my house. We do about five
miles walking and running through the woods, then Ike usually goes for
a swim in a nearby pond. No matter how cold it is he wants to swim,
it's all I can do during these colder months to keep him out of the water.
Wherever I bring Ike he wins peoples hearts (he's a real babe magnet) and
he is welcome in all my friends' homes.
Thank you for your
dedication to this breed. Without your love of Bulldogs, I wouldn't
have the loyal, intelligent and healthy buddy I have today. I will
send more pictures and keep you informed about Ike, I won't say I'll do
this soon, but I promise I will,
Sincerely,
Ed Genova

Sorry we haven't
been in touch. The pup is doing great! We have decided to
name him Bevo,
after the mascot at The University of Texas. Bevo is a
blast. He
is extremely quick to learn, and has rejuvenated our 7 yr. old
English bulldog,
Harley. What's funny is that from day one, Bevo's favorite
activity is to
latch on to Harley's ear and not let go. Harley will walk
around the house
with Bevo attached at the ear. I guess he thinks Harley is
a little pig :)
He also loves tug-of-war and playing ball. I think he
could do either
all day long. Again, thanks for wonderful pup. I will keep
you updated and
try to get some pictures made.

Hi Eileen,
Had a pretty good
time at the club meet yesterday, they said it was one
of their biggest
turn outs.
...(Well-known
ABA Judge) was there. He seen a tennis ball I had next to Chey and said,
you sure can tell
that's one of Eileens' dogs with that tennis ball next
to her. And went
on to say how much you use and promote ball drive.
He talked about
Toro also, saying how ballistic he is ( in a good way ) that you
have to use the ball just to keep him in check. and settled down because
his drive is so strong.
He said yeah, that's
the kind of dogs I try to produce. ( talking about
Chey ) He was telling
people which class their dogs should be in ( Johnson or Standard ) pointing
at
Chey. saying that's
a pure performance standard dog! I don't know I'm not a judge
but I think the
breed would be a whole lot better looking if they all
looked like Cheyenne.
lol Have I told you how much I dig this dog? lol
John Reo
Eileen,
Hello hello hello. How are ya? Sorry for the lack of photos.
We finally can get you some though and they'll be on the way A.S.A.P.
Nox girl is doing great. She's gonna be 1yr in 8 days. I'm
in shock. She is currently 75lbs and eats like a horse. Her
and Lexus are the bestest pals in the world. They can't be apart
for a second. Nox still hates water. As if she'll melt or something.
Nothing can hinder her strong urge to dig a tunnel to China though.
She is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. But she is definitely
rather thick headed, but we've managed to get sit, stay, paw, lay down,
jump up, and talk out of her. She is addicted to vitamin C.
If you mention the word vitamin her and Lexus go nuts. Well I'm gonna
run now. Shel and I will send you pictures (we have about 40,000,000
of them). Half of my friends stole pictures of Nox because they love
her to death! See ya later,

I met Eileen in
February 2001 when she answered a query that I had emailed to random AB
breeders. At the time, my beloved bulldog Yori was very ill and a
definitive diagnosis was elusive. So, taking a suggestion from my
dad, I sent out a "call for help: over the Internet.
Sadly, Yori
died (essentially of old age) on March 29th -- 3 weeks before her 12th
birthday.
Since then,
I have gotten to know Eileen and Rick. Their care and compassion
have been a source of strength to me as I continue to grieve. And
Ceily, Toro and Sha-Nuk have provided me with a much needed and deeply
appreciated "dog fix". (I was even lucky enough to meet Sexy Sadie
and Mocha!)
Eileen and
Rick have the knowledge and expertise to run a very tight breeding and
training ship. Although they stress the importance of doing well
in the ring, they have not lost sight of the fact that ABs are also loving
family members who bring much happiness and joy to our lives. It
is obvious that they love their dogs and take pride in
the Topline name.
Someday soon
I'll be ready for another puppy. When that time comes, you can be
sure I'll turn to Topline for the perfect mix of gameness and temperament,
backed by two of the nicest people in the world. Thank you, Eileen
and Rick!

Alison
Dear Eileen:
The girl is doing
very well whith her training. She is so lovely and sweet.
Her weight is 28
kgs.
She
likes to play with my grand son in the play grounds, and I realy mean
it, She climbs
on the tunnels and slides.
She has two guardianship,
a golden r 6 year old. and a german s.8year old..
They show her how
to be alert during the night, and sleep during the day.
On week ends we
go to a coffee farm in Antigua Guatemala, and she is so
happy because she
has a large space were she can run, play and take sun tan,
when I forget to
put sun block, she come back with a red nose.
She barks like
a big bad dog.
I think that she
is very happy with us.
Other day I ll
tell you about her boyfriend.
Best regards.

Dear Eileen:
I really enjoyed
your reaction to Daisy's pictures. As you know, Not Everyone Shares in
our adoration of these beautiful dogs!
At her last Vet
checkup, last week, She is 103 pounds. My vet says she is at an excellent
weight in proportion to her body. She adores people and shows a special
loyalty to each member of our family. I have found that she has an incredible
understanding of what we say. When George is approaching our house on his
way home, our cockatiels, screech and Daisy runs into our living room to
look out the window to watch for him. Always That worried look on her face.
And it does get to each of us. My daughter Jennifer has often compared
her look to Dallas. She is very obedient most of the time. Except when
she is excited about someone's arrival. It's not that she is really bad,
but her excitement is overwhelming and it's hard for her to contain it.
We have been working on that by placing a gate near our entrance door.
We ask those who come in not to pay much attention to her until she calms
down and sits. It take a little time for her, but the problem is really
with everyone who enters. They love her and do not have much self-control!
I love bragging
about her, and to get a receptive ear is wonderful. There has never been
a time, when we have brought her out with us to different places with us,
that at least one person has not commented on her beauty. Her facial expressions
and the shape of her head display her personality. When her head is sort
of "Square " with ears erect though flopped over, she seems to be very
intent on what is being done or said. She then tilts her head when she
doesn't quite understand, this is especially true when we are watching
"Discovery channel" Animals on the big screen downstairs. She has us in
"stitches" at her wonder.
Her head becomes
very "rounded" with her ear laying softly backward. This always seems to
express her happiness. When she adds her wagging tail or should I say whole
body, she shows how friendly she is. When playful her one ears goes sort
up and lays over her head. When my great niece and nephew come over she
is so happy. She loves children and seems to be especially gentle with
them!
As you can clearly see, we love her very much! And are very grateful to
you for the careful selection you consider for your breeding of these wonderful
dogs. The proof of your breeding philosophy has been realized in our "Daisy."
Beautiful as a flower, Sweet temperament is her fragrance to us all. Strong
and loyal spirit that does not over power anyone, yet assures us that she
would always be ready to protect us. She still is a puppy in some areas
of protection, when she has heard something that alarms her, like the time
I was working on the computer with her sleeping by my feet, she heard the
hard boiled eggs that I had forgotten on the stove, popping. When I went
to see what she was barking at she didn't leave my side, but would not
venture ahead to see what it was. Thank you Eileen for this precious dog.
I know that there was no casual chance that we met you at that dog show,
when we were looking for an American Bulldog puppy. We were heart broken
at the thought of "Manny" leaving us. Daisy has filled that emptiness to
overflow. By the way, Manny is always happy to see us when we visit our
daughter, but much to our delight we can see the strong bond he has with
our daughter. This also has brought us comfort.
Well, Bye for Now!
Sincerely,
Mary & George

Hi Eileen,
I am soooooooo
happy with this little pup...he is just awesome! It made me very glad to
hear Rick give him such a high compliment :). I read your e-mail
out loud to my son, and when I said Rick's name Kiko perked his ears up
and turned his head.
We've already
been to the lake played with cat's, gone for a little walk in the woods, took
a little nap together and he tried (and liked) somechicken fajita's.
I've never bought
a pup without personally going to the breeders and dealing with them 1st
hand, but you had such a good reputation, and your dogs came recommended
by some trainers I really trust, that I decided to take a chance.
Toro's name kept
popping up in conversations, and I was told that he was a solid dog and
had actually EARNED his titles...I was so happy when I found your website...boy
am I glad I did!
I felt at ease
from the 1st phone conversation and every conversation I had with ya'll
from that point just confirmed that I had picked the right breeder.
As a Bulldog fan,
I truly appreciate what you and Rick have done for this breed. Kiko truly
is an awesome little puppers!!! I am awful sorry we both lost
our Bulldogs recently...but I sure thank God for giving us these pups.
I mourned for Toro even though I never got to pet him :(
I look forward
to seeing the next generation Topline puppies and your future work.
Thank you both
for everything!! When rick gets ready for that hat let me know!
Best regards
