| "TOPS is a non-profit weight loss support group with more than 260,000 members worldwide. Most people join TOPS with a specific weight loss in mind. TOPS* stand for "Take Off Pounds Sensibly." Thousands of TOPS members stay with the program because "what they lose is just as important as what they gain--like friendships, self-esteem and healthier lifestyles." Whatever your reason, we urge you to come and join our club. T.O.P.S #FL606, Deltona, was given a charter on April 14, 1994. Our main purpose is to lose excess pounds and maintain an ideal body weight. With a weekly weigh-in and your weight chart carefully recorded, we find it easier to lose weight with a supportive group than "going it alone". Their is no rigid diet from the Chapter, but you should use a diet set by your doctor. It's so important to see him first before starting a diet or planning to lose weight. Anyone is allowed to come as a guest to one of our meetings. If you think our chapter can be of help to you, please come and join us. We support teens, men, and women, and we do hope you will join us in "Taking Pounds Off Sensibly." |
