Located at Rajaprasong intersection in the heart of Bangkok's commercial + shopping district. Central World Tower is an intelligent office building which provides 100,000 square metres of premium office space. The building is the centrepiece of Central World Plaza Complex, formerly the World Trade Center Bangkok project.

Construction of the original World Trade Tower was halted at the 39th floor. Following a deal reached between Crown Property Bureau and the original developer Wang Petchaboon, the project was taken over by Central Group, and construction resume in 2003. The building's height was scaled down from the original 63 storeys to current 51 storeys.

The tower is divided into four zones: low zone, mid low zone, mid high zone and high zone. The building also features spacious 21m high lobby areas. A walking bridge will provide connection between the tower and the Central World Plaza Shopping Center. Future connections to BTS stytrain will also be provided.

The open floor plan (2000 sqm floor plate) provides flexibilty of office design and maximises office space. There are also traditional Thai and contemporary elements incorporated into the interior design, with waterfalls and plants to create a natural ambient atmosphere.

The building utilise miconic system for elevator control and intelligent building control system (eg. automatic air conditioning, energy saving air purifier system). The building is alo wired with Integrated Services Digital Netowork (ISDN) and Digital Data Network (DDN) lines.
