Many of the Man or Astroman albums contain clips from movies. Some of them are from movie that have been MiSTied. I am attempting to compile a list of all of the clips in all of the MOAM albums that I can. So here goes:
MOAM home page
- Album: Live Transmissions From Uranus
- Intro Sample
- Transmission from Uranus
- Clip from It Conquered the Word. (Radio Scene: Lee Van Cleef, Peter Graves) - 'Listen to it, Paul. Listen to the voice.'
- Clip from It Conquered the Word. (End Scene: Lee Van Cleef) - 'I made you welcome to this Earth...'
- Steric Waves
- From? - 'Nobody fully understands the effect lightning has on it's victims. But strange things seem...'
- Hmmm. There seems to be another audio clip in here, but I can't really hear it.
- A Mouthful of Exhaust
- From ? - 'No speed limit signs on this highway, no one to say 'Take it easy,' no cops to hand out tickets, just enjoy the $74,000 in prize money for disappointment or death.'
- Mystery Science Theatre 3000 Love Theme
- Well, if I don't mention my site's theme, what good would it be?
- Gargantua's Last Stand
- This is a clip from War of the Gargantuas - 'Gargantua came ashore 30 minutes ago at the mouth of the Sukai river. Land, air, and sea units of the nations defense force have gone into action in an effort to prevent the huge green monster from retreating back into the ocean, and, of course, to destroy it.'
- Rovers
- Nitrous Burn Out
- I LOVE THIS QUOTE! (Where's it from, anyway?) - 'I go to Indianapolis every year to see the Indy 500. I go there with friends to drive and race. Every year when they go there to qualify, they usually have to go as fast as they possibly can to get a front row position. They put nitro in their cars sometimes instead of the fuel that's intended to be in the cars, so that the cars will go faster. And they do. For 5 or 10 laps, and then they blow all to hell.'
- Album: Intravenous Television Continuum
- Immersion State
- From Videodrome
- 'The television screen is the retina of the mind's eye. Therefore, the television screen is part of the physical structure of the brain. Therefore, whatever appears on the television screen, emerges as raw experience for those who watch it. Therefore, television is reality, and reality is less than television' (Thanks, Casey!)
- Nitrous Burn Out 2012
- See Nitrous Burn Out above.
- There's some stuff here I can't make out.
- From ? - 'A special bulletin, there's been an accident, an explosion!'
- Here, too.
- Tetsuwan Atomu
- From ? - 'I hereby christen thee my robot son, Astro-Boy.'
