I bought "little Earthquakes" as soon as I could find it (I was living in rural japan at the time) - I'd heard about Tori and it was like intuitive, I had to have the album (my friend fianally got it somewhere in Akita). Comments: Hi. Just wanted to confess to you my love & appreciation for Tori. I cannot explain completely her affect on me. When I was 19, a friend suggested "Me&aGun" after my assault & for at least a year I could not sleep through the night w/out it playing consta tly in my room. I got the chance to meet her by accident. It was one of her last songs @ her B'ham concert & I was so moved & full of memories that I had to step outside b/c I was afraid that my crying signaled to everyone what had happened to me. Curious y, I wandered over to her bus and w/in minutes I was rushed up against the rails by the back door of the theater. I was on the first row of ppl to meet her & as she came my way I began to sob.... Simply b/c of the situation that bonded me w/ her. She held my hands & looked straight into me said "They can't break us, they can't steal our spirit." I didn't even have to say a word. She hugged me & stood w/ me for a/b 10 minutes. I thanked her for singing me through the nightmares & evil memories every night. Tori is so much than an idol or a musician to me. She was able to speak for me when I was too distraught to find the words. She walked me through the most horrific experience of my life. I was definitely meant to find her for her help, for her strength, f r her support and understanding. If you know of anyone who has gone through this, that song can be a very non-threatening way to cope. Thanks.

Comments: I'd love to get on that show "Fanatic" on MTV and meet Tori because I'm one (of many) of her biggest fans. :) I first saw her years back on VH-1 when her video "Silent All These Years" first came out. Since then I've been hooked. She has been such an inspiration, that I bought me a piano 2 years ago and started playing. Of course I'm not nearly as good as Tori.
