Greetings, It is indeed a pleasure to serve as your Worshipful Master for the year 2001. Freemasonry is alive and well here on Okinawa and I personally extend my hand of Friendship and Brotherly Love to each and every Brother, on and off island. Torii has a storied history of excellence untouched by any subordinate Lodge in this jurisdiction and I intend to uphold these great standards set by my predecessors. We will continue to focus on community service and education and ensure that we produce well rounded and knowledgeable Master Masons. Along with my newly elected staff, I will lead the charge in discovering new projects of interest for Torii Lodge and ensure that no stone is uncovered in our quest to improve the community which we live in. I encourage all members to actively participate in this year's Lodge events and support this administration as your abilities may permit. Though we may not please every single Brother, rest assured that we will continue to guide this Lodge in the direction that is most beneficial to the craft as a whole. Accordingly, we must learn to meet on the level, work out our differences, and part on the square as all good Masons have been taught to do. Finally, I would like to thank the members of Torii Lodge #46 for maintaining the confidence in me to preside over this great Lodge. A special thanks goes to my lovely wife, Gloria for the many years of support and patience. Once again, I look forward to a prosperous and fruitful year as your Worshipful Master.
