Masters of Terra's ancient history and civilization:
Professor Verner Von Bleucher
Professor Barrell

Luminous Blane asks:

Dear Gentlemen,
I am admittedly less than knowledgeable about the principles of energy extraction and storage involving refractors. how do refractors generate power? more importantly, how do they contain the power they create? I have some theories of my own, but you probably don't want to hear them. I would also like to talk about the armor that is often seen on diggers such as megaman. What substance is it made from? could you please share with me some specs? I am a very big fan of your research. Both of you. Please make haste in your response, for I am most eager to read it. Perhaps someday we could exchange theories and notes. Perhaps...but probably not. you two are far more knowledgeable than I'll ever be.

Your fan,
Luminous Blane
Very well. If you must know, refractors, even until now are still a mystery to us. But for now, this is what we know.
Refractors are artificially made by the ancient people of Terra. It is created from a very rare element called Terrarium. We have no idea how it was created but we do know that it provides an abundant source of energy.
The second type of refractors are called refractor shards. These refractors are too small to provide a decent amount of energy. So currently, these are used as currency. It's value is measured by the amount of energy it produces.
Refractors are artificially made by the ancient people of Terra. The third kind is the biological refractor. These orange cubes has the mysterious ability to heal shallow wounds and increase a persons energy. We believe that these were used by the ancients to heal themselves, and stores them in reaverbots when not in use.
And last, we have the special refractors. These crystals can be manipulated with modern technology to change their shape and power. With the proper equipment, these refractors can transform into landmines, homing missiles, or even a high-concentrated laser.
However, when exposed to air, these refractors vanish. It seems the Terrarium is a very unstable element. So in order to prevent this, these are usually kept in an air-tight container, like Megaman's special backpack or Verner's modified safe.
Finally, the unusual property of these refractors is that they can occupy the same space at the same time. We have yet to discover why but this allows diggers to stuff all their refractors in a small bag. There are even some reports that refractors can pass through walls. Most diggers have this problem where their refractor passed through the wall and they can't get it back. And being unstable and all, these refractors disappear.
Oh, and speaking of armors, they're ordinary light-weight armors that can be bought anywhere.
So Luminous Blane, did we enlighten you?
If you have theories of your own we're more that happy to hear it. The Mininstry of Science needs all the help they can get.
Luminous Blane asks:

Dear Professor Caskett and Mr. Bleucher,

It is my belief that the refrractors can harness light to produce more energy, which is why the pad they're usually found on deep in dig sites has lights above and below this. This also is the reason for the name refractor. They refract particles of light into pure energy to power vehicles and buildings. But there is a flaw in my hypothesis. They can exist in an engine or generator with no source of light and power things. It doesn't make alot of sense to me, and I'm having qutie a bit of trouble figuring it out. Thanks for answering my last question, it was very enlightening, and has helped the progress of my own theories. Yours,
Luminous Blane
As I have said. There's so much we don't know about these refractors. But it's a good theory, I'll run it through the Ministry of Science immediately.
Luminous Blane asks:

Dear Professor Caskett,

*glares at him* Did anyone ever tell you you look suspiciously like the legendary Uncle Digg? And didn't you used to be one of the best diggers in the world? and didn't you find the remains of some poor sap that took on ruins before he was ready, dressed his bones in your outfit, and left him there to put an end to the existance of Uncle Digg? Yours,
Luminous Blane

p.s. I love rootbeer, and I'm rather immature most of the time. is there a connection?
*Gasp* What are you... I have nothing to say to this! (Quietly sneaks away)
Hmmm... Barrell? Where are you going. Oh, hello again Luminous Blane. What brings you here? A question to professor Caskett you say? Well pardon me, but there's no one that goes by that name here. Remember that the Caskett name came from Roll's father's side of the family, and Professor Barrell came from Roll's mother's side of the family.
The Mininstry of Science is waiting for your questions.
