Parents will be contacted in the next few weeks to volunteer to spend a shift at the tree yard. In addition, parents can view the schedule at: http://members.rogers.com/91st.toronto/tree.html and can e-mail the webmaster at 91st.toronto@rogers.com to request to have your name entered on a shift.

As some of you may know there is an upcoming camp trip planned for the
weekend of January 28th to January 30th. This camp trip is located at Goodyear
Memorial Scout Camp, located just North of Orangeville. The Beavers will
again be joining the 91st Cubs for this outing. We have booked a cabin with
heating, beds and kitchen facilities. There is no indoor plumbing in the
cabin, but outhouses are close by.
If your Beaver is going to attend, please respond before the next Beaver
meeting, so I could let the Cub leader know how many are going to be at
the camp( we have a leader planning meeting on the 13th to discuss the camping
trip)
There is limited space available, I believe enough space for 26 people in
total.
Beaver parents are not required to attend with their child, but if you would
like to attend it will depend on space availability.
The cost for the upcoming camp outing will be $20.00 per beaver and for
any parent planning on attending it will be $30.00.
Permission slips will be available on the 18th as well as maps and a "what
to bring list" for those who have expressed interest in attending. These
forms and payment should be returned on the 25th of January.
For more information please see camp letter

On Saturday, February 19th, the Beavers and Cubs will be having a sleep over at Fort York. This is a great opportunity for everyone to attend since Fort York is only about 15-20 minutes from the Bowmore area. We would like to give all the Beavers the opportunity to experience this event and therefore we will be subsidizing the cost of the sleep over from $35.00 to $20.00. Parents, if you wish to attend, the cost will be $8.00, however, we have limited spaces for adults (leaders and parents) as the barracks can only accommodate 40 in total (25 beavers / cubs and 15 adults). Please hand in your money ASAP if you wish to attend to save your space in the barracks.

The 91st Beaver Colony would like to invite all Beavers and their family members to a family outing. This will be the last outing of the Beaver year before the final banquet on May 31st
The outing will be attending a Blue Jays vs. Minnesota Twins game on May 28th at 4:05 pm. Tickets must be purchased prior to May 13th and all ticket orders are to be in by May 10th. Tickets will be $8.10 each. There are 100 seats reserved in the 500 level, so please get your orders in early.
Because this is a family event, it is open to all members of the family; parents, siblings, and grandparents and there is no limit to how many family members attend as long as tickets are purchased by the due date. This outing will require a family member be responsible for the Beaver, as the Leaders will also have their respected family members to care for. All seats will be together in the same section.
The 91st Toronto Leader team would like to have full participation in this event, as it is a great way to get out and have the Beavers spend time with friends and family.
