Hampton drew a parallel or a connection between dental care and oral health, and general health and spoke to having a public dental plan. He also called for an independent body to determine social assistance rates, and he talked about entry-level (temp agency) labour market issues.

It's now been a year since the October 17 rally at Queen's Park and things seem to be rather quiet. Make Poverty History were supposed to be doing an event on Parliament Hill, but we have no notes in.
As mentioned the Liberal government is supposed to be embarking on a poverty agenda with "real timelines" and Deb Matthews MPP is now in cabinet.. |
