The web pages have been modified extensively in the wake of the August 9, 2006 web committee meeting.
At the August 9, 2006 meeting we covered a lot of ground and we were edging towards distributing the web files over a larger area. That has since taken place; some materials are now stored on a mirror server and the search function has been expanded.
Location for the Aug. 9 meeting was the office of Flemingdon Community Legal Services on The Donway West. (This is near Don Mills Rd. and Lawrence Ave., next to the old Don Mills Centre mall. Follow the link to a map.) For technical reasons we will probably be having our next meeting (early 2007) at a centrally located "Internet cafe", eg. at a commercial location where for a few dollars you can use the computers for a while.
N.B. Technical expertise is not necessary for the TROAC web committee meetings. For those so inclined we have lots of technology to share however! |
