Geospace Planetarium brings a wealth of experience and research to our proposal.  GP is supported by many other organizations and individuals. All recognize the need for a new Toronto planetarium.
Geospace Planetarium started as an ad hoc group of scientists, educators and ordinary citizens working to reopen Toronto’s McLaughlin Planetarium. With the imminent redevelopment of the McLaughlin site, we have incorporated as a non-profit federally registered corporation.  We have enlarged our vision to developing a stunning 21st planetarium facility from the ground up at a new downtown location. The planetarium will be an educational institution, a popular tourist attraction and a thing of beauty gracing Toronto's reawakening cityscape.
