This date is open and flexible.  We might arrange out-of-town trips, e.g., Ilokandia, Palawan, Bikolandia, etc. for people who are interested.

The culmination of this “Big Event” will be the “Handog Sa Torres”.  The batch ’64 plans to present a gift to the school, as a gesture of appreciation and commitment to its Alma Mater.

The reunion planning and implementation is headed by Teofilo (Butch) G. Santos, as Overall Chairperson.  A Planning Committee that is composed of ten (10) members provides him support.  These members represent a cross-section of Class 1964 (see Reunion Committees).  Prima Vera-Aguilar initiates and oversees all reunion activities in the Philippines.

With the “Locate a Classmate“ project, led by Eric Santos, laying the groundwork for a concerted effort to reach out to as many Class 1964 alumni, the initial feedback has been very encouraging.  Overseas Torresians have expressed very strong interest and enthusiasm to attend this milestone event.

Thus far, preparations are going on smoothly and the Event organizers are brimming with optimism that the Balik-Torres 2004 will be a resounding success.
