Tory's Driving Tips

Let me say this first SANDBAGGERS SUCK!!!!!!!!! Okay with that out of the way I'll give my strategies on getting to the winners circle.

When you first get on the track pick a point where you're want to get to and then get there before you try to take anyone out. This should be somewhere on an end but not by any logs, poles, barrels etc.... Then when you get there count to 10 and pick your shot. Always wait for the car next to go back first. Then follow his front end in because he will be looking back. Don't try for the big track length shot early in the heat. Wait for all of the rookies to take those shots on someone else. Hit and get back to your spot then repeat. Don't pick targets too deep in the action because you may never get out of there.

The perfect trunk bend

Take a few good shots with your rearend early before you lose a tire. This will get your rearend coming up. If you have a flat they will get over you and push it down. After you taking a few good shots to your rearend then turn around and use the front for awhile.

Nice frond end not even a scratch on the bumper

Too bad we had to cut the back off to get in the feature
Don't be afraid to use your front end rather than just beat your rearend into the ground. Also if you can't see your trunk then it's going down and may disable you so turn around and keep it protected. When some of the cars start dropping out, now it's time to kick butt. When you see a kill shot take it and then back up only about 10 feet and hit him again. If you give him any more room he might get away. Try to keep him pinned down.

Never go bumper to bumper with a fresh car or when your bumpers are even. Always bang tires another words hit them where it's your bumper against sheetmetal. Forget taking someones radiator out because usually it's yours that gets taken out. Go for "A" arms and axles. You can disable someone from the side alot easier than through a bumper. Of course avoid the driver's door at all times. We're out there to have fun not kill each other. But if you get a good shot on a left front fender take their steering box out. If you know your front end or rearend is coming up and you can clear his bumper then clean his grill and bend his radiator over his engine block.

Took out # 24's steering box (he got 2nd place)

One of the best ways to start a hot engine is to turn the ignition switch off then hit the start switch and get the motor turning. Once the motor is turning over good then hit your ignition switch. Always get to to know you engine before hand. Know if it likes two pumps when it's hot and so on. Then come crunch time you won't flood it or starve it.

You will rarely see a car go hog wild and win the race. Besides they are usually the ones that will hit a driver's door. Be patient you'll get plenty of hits in when the finale comes.

As Russ always says you only have to beat one guy on the track and thats the 2nd place car and this will be you.
