Really enjoyed your web site. Got some really helpful information. Am relatively new to the sport but am addicted to it. Always hard to find a decent car for low $$$$. Any advice on that? Usually run at the South Bend Motor Speedway. If you ever come to S. Bend to run, be kind to "Demolition Dave".

I don't understand why everyone runs gm engines. I have been a chevy fan all my life but the chrysler 318 with a 360 intake is the best derby engine ever built. They will never die.

I HAVE BEEN DERBYING FOR 6 YEARS. CARS ARE ALWAYS PAINTED SILVER. I LIKE TO RUN 74 CHEVYS. I RUN A 64 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL WITH A 74 CHEVY BUMPER, AND A 350 ENGINE 17 TIMES AND WITH THAT I HAD 17 HEAT WINS AND 15 MAIN EVENT WINS. I ALSO WON A MAIN EVENT WITH A 78 CAPRICE.

I like your web site. I am from Hays, Kansas. I would like to know where you are located. I have read through a lot of the web pages. I don't really understand the rules in your area, but would like to know more about it. I would be glad to share our r les in Kansas with you. We do a lot of driver protection with welding and I see a lot of wires and screws that doesn't have a lot of protection (on the web sites that I visit). Is there a lot of mud to offer more immobility on the track? Or do you run n a dry track? Very curious, thanks.

You've got a kick ass site. I like your pics and your tips some of them have helped make it through this past season. I won the first derby of the year and I got 3rd in the one after that. And I didn't lose a heat all year. I really pissed a lot of people off though, cause i'm only 17. Ive been demoing for two years and have got 6th 7th. I only run ford but I would run chevy but every one wants 400+ dollars for one car. I think you should come demo down her its not to easy we have the Brandl Boys and Dan Martenson He alway wins but Last year at Us. 30 he didnt he is just funny to watch he gets mad if you hit and Dan Brandl was kicking the sit out of him.
