This tire, enclosed in a two by four frame, was covered in duct tape to protect the puppy. It was used to familiarize him with stepping through a hoop. He was far to young to jump, an activity that should not be encouraged until your companion is at least a year old. It was fun for him, and spared a fragile puppy spine. We also played with home made weave poles. Fun doesn't have to be potentially harmful.
