> The owner of the restaurant had just gone upstairs, and was
>just about to go to sleep. He lay on the couch, covered in
>blankets, with only one thought in his head.
> *If Umbrella ever does anything to his city, they'll all pay.*
> For the first time in his life, he'd met someone who seemed to
>like him for who he was, not what he was. Trent wasn't a real
>friend, he was just using him to fight Umbrella. His ex-father had
>used him as a bodyguard. Pat had…
> *Pat…my dearest Pat…*
> Couldn't think about her now. What was done is done, there's
>no changing the past. He had to leave that behind him now. Had to
>move on with his life.
> With what's happened in the past day, and now with the
>restaurant owner, if Umbrella ever did anything to hurt anyone in
>the city, he'd get pissed.
> And nobody wants to see him when he's pissed.
> *Geez. She's been so nice to me, and I don't even know her
>name! I'll ask her in the morning. Right now I need to get some
>sleep.*
> After a few minutes of tossing and turning, he finally got to
>sleep.
>
> "Boss, I'm telling you. It was HIM!"
> "Are you sure it was him?" a man in the shadows spoke into a
>speaker.
> "Yes. Positive. He killed seven of my men and drove off with
>the truck!"
> "Ok. No need to panic. I'll have another shipment there in
>the morning."
> "Very good boss."
> "Oh, and one more thing Mayori."
> "Yes boss?"
> "If you screw up this time, I won't give you time to beg for
>mercy."
> "…"
> "Understood?"
> "…Yes…boss…"
> "Good."
>
> "Morning!"
> "What? Where am I?"
> "You're in my restaurant, remember?"
> *The owner. That's right.*
> "Oh, right, sorry," he said, sitting up. "What time is it?"
> "Almost noon."
> "Where are all the customers? You ARE open weekends, I'm
>presuming…"
> "We are open right now, but nobody's coming in. During the
>night, two stranger appeared out of nowhere and started fighting.
>They've been going all night." She was looking at his glasses.
> "Well," he said looking away, "doesn't this city have some kind
>of martial arts expert that can stop them?"
> "Well, sort of…" she hesitated.
> "…but what?"
> "…but he's not here right now."
> "Well, where is he?"
> "He started fighting another guy last night, and I don't know
>what happened, but to make a long story short, he's in another part
>of town and hasn't heard about it yet…" She half smiled.
> "What do these people who're fighting right now look like?"
> "I don't really know. They're fighting in the sky, and they're
>moving so fast, they just look like streaks of light. They've
>already destroyed one building…"
> "Umbrella…" he muttered.
> "What? What did you say?"
> "Me? Oh, nothing…Maybe I'll take a look…" he said, and jumped
>out of bed. "I just have to go to my car first."
> "But…"
>
> *Good, car's still there…*
> He walked over to his car and opened the trunk. Inside, he
>pulled out a brief case. Inside of it, he took out another pair of
>sunglasses. After putting them off, and putting the other pair
>away, he put the brief case away and locked the trunk.
> *I hope these work.*
> He walked over to a tree, climbed to the top of it, then jumped
>to the roof of a nearby building. On the roof, he touched his
>glasses and lenses changed color. They changed from a black color
>to a red color.
> *Let's see…*
> "Bingo!"
> Directly above him were two people, in mid air, fighting.
> *Day-vision glasses…gotta love them.*
>One of the two had on orange color clothes, and the other had on
>what looked like body armor. The one with the armor was
>considerably bigger than the other, but the first seemed to be
>fighting quiet well.
> *Holy shit!*
> The big one had something most people don't…a tail!
> *Like some kind of monkey tail! What's Umbrella up to now?*
> "This is your last chance," the bigger one started, "to join us
>in taking over this pathetic planet!"
> "No way Nappa! We already stopped Raditz, what makes you think
>I can't stop you!"
>*I'm guessing the one in orange is the good guy…*
> "HEY! Looks like we have a visitor!"
> *Shit! The big one saw me!*
> "Leave civilians out of this!" the orange one said.
> The two were racing toward him. The big one, Nappa, to try and
>kill him. The orange one, to try and save him.
> *Biggums is going to make it…*
> "DODONPA!" he shouted, and released a ball of energy. The
>energy shot out at the big one.
> "What is this? Does everyone do that?" Nappa said, easily
>dodging out of the way.
>"KAMEHAMEHA!" the orange one shouted, shooting out a beam of energy.
> "What the he…"
> The energy beam hit Nappa and he went sailing out of the city.
> "Thanks for detracting him for me," the orange one said.
> "…um…right…No problem…"
> "Nice trick," the orange one said, flying after the big one.
>
> "What happened?" the owner asked, as he walk in the door.
> "They left."
> "What did you do?"
> "Distract one of them."
> "…"
> "Before I forget, and I know I will if I don't ask now, what is
>your name? You've been so kind to me, and I don't even know your
>name…"
> "Oh, I forgot about that too…My name's Ukyou, and yours?"
> "Mine? Oh…um…"
> "What? You're not aloud to say it or something?"
> "No, nothing at all. It's a long story…"
> He motioned for her to sit down. She did. He then spent the
>next hour or so explaining to her about his past. Most of it
>anyway. He told her how his 'father' had found him on the street.
>How he worked hard educating himself, and how his ex-father betrayed
>him by trying to make him work for his company. He didn't say which
>company, or what they did, but all he said was that it "wasn't
>nice". She seemed to realize that bringing it up latter won't be a
>good idea, and that was good.
> *The less she knows, the better. The less anyone knows, the
>better.*
> After reopening the restaurant, he agreed to stay in Nerima for
>at lest one more day.
> For the rest of that day, he loaded his car up with all the
>needed supplies, and then helped Ukyou out in her restaurant.
> "Ok, who gets this order?" he called out.
> "ME!" came a shout from the back of the restaurant.
>
> That night, he once again slept on the couch, and Ukyou slept
>upstairs.
> At 11:45 that night, there was a knock at the door.
>
> "Finally! Nerima! Back home!" Ryoko arrived back home in
>Nerima at about 11:39, and decided to go see Ukyou first thing.
> *Maybe I'll surprises her…*
> Ryoko got up to the door and started looking for a key.
> *Darn. I left it here. That's right. I guess I'll have to
>knock.*
> Knock!
> Knock!
>
> *Who could that be?*
> He sat up in the couch and thought for a second.
> *Did Ukyou here that? No, she didn't. Should I wake her? No,
>I don't want to do that. I'll just answer the door and see who it
>is…*
> He froze.
> *Did Umbrella follow me here? Shit, I hope not…*
>
> *Maybe I didn't knock hard enough. She must be asleep.*
> Ryoko put her hand up to knock again, but the door opened and
>her hand hit the air.
> *SHIT!*
> In the door was a man dressed all in black, pointing a handgun
>at her.
> She let out a little shriek.
> *Oneechan! What did he do to her!*
> Without another though, Ryoko quickly moved to the left of the
>man and kicked his hand before he could react, his gun flying across
>the room.
> *Good, now this'll be easy!*
> Ryoko whipped out her yo-yo and sent it flying toward the man,
>almost hitting him. He moved out of the way easily and out of
>nowhere, pulled out a knife of some kind and cut the string.
> *My yo-yo!*
> To Ryoko's surprise, the man dropped the knife.
>
> *Why'd Umbrella send a female after me? To try and trick me!
>I don't need a knife to beat her…*
> He dropped the knife.
> "Who sent you?" he said.
> "What?" the girl asked, looking almost totally surprised by the
>question.
> *At lest this time they pick a good liar.*
> "Who sent you!" he yelled.
> "What are you talking about?" she asked.
> "YOU!" came a shout from the door.
> "Ryouga!" the girl said, sounding glad.
> "What are you doing here?!" the man at the door asked.
> "He was pointing a gun at me…" the girl said.
> *Great, Umbrella sent two of them…*
>"I don't have time to waste with Umbrella spies like you!" he said,
>then jumped at the man at the door.
>
> "Ryouga!" Ryoko shouted. The man in black had jump kicked him,
>and sent Ryouga falling outside. Without thinking about it, Ryoko
>jumped at the man and pinned him to the ground. Ryouga got up and
>picked the man up.
> "Who…" Ryouga was silenced when the man shot a ball of energy
>at Ryouga's leg. Ryouga dropped him, and then the man back flipped
>to the door of the restaurant, readying another ki attack.
> "What's going on out there?!" Ryoko heard from within.
> "Ukyou! Stay inside! It's two Umbrella assassins!" the man in
>black shouted into the restaurant.
> * Oneechan!*
