The three figures moved swiftly through the trees. For them, navigating this
forest was as easy as walking through a door.
"Do you mind explaining what the hell just happened?" Kailan asked.
"What do you mean?" Scimitar replied as he narrowly passed a tree at 60 mph.
"That guy you fought, the guy who saved us, Gordon doing that trick when his
power level is at-"
/Firstly, forget the power levels. Its over-rated anyway./ Mewtwo said as he
fazed in and out on the tree branches.
"Well, where to begin about Alkanphel?" Scimitar wondered. "Might as well
just start at the very beginning........"
"The world you see before, was visited by aliens, who were considered gods by
the primitives here. These creatures, were searching for the ultimate
soldiers for their wars. They were the ancestors of the one you know as
Frieza. They hopped from planet to planet, altering the races to be soldiers.
They created genetic monsters, the Zoanoids, to fight their wars. The aliens
left when Earthlings rebelled. The Chronos Corporation, which was one of the
richest companies before the Guyvers and I showed up, found relics from that
time, and started from where the aliens left. Of course, the head of Chronos,
Alkanphel, is the original Zoalord. He's lived this long from his inhuman
genes, and wants to conquer the world."
"Whoa." was all Kailan could come up with. "So, why did it take him so long
to start?"
/He had to wait for Earth's technology to get up to some level where he could
start./
"Anyway," Scimitar continued, "as a result of my existence, Alkanphel would
just love to ice me himself."
/By the way, where is Gordon?/
"Listen," Scimitar turned to Mewtwo, "he must be around here! I saw him go
down..."
"Um, excuse me? Is this your friend over here?" a voice asked.
Scimitar and Kailan turned to the source.
/Azel, from the dojo, and Gordon's with her./
"Thanks, Mewtwo." he replied.
And then, just as they were about to step through the trees to where the
voice came from, something dropped in from above.
