Ryoko sneezed.
"Bless you," said Azel, not looking up as she
continued to dig through the racks for some decent
clothes. Ryoko sniffed and looked around. She had
never quite enjoyed shopping as some others did. She
pulled out a nice gown. Still, it did have it's
merits.
"How about this one?"
"No. Too fancy."
"But it looks so nice!"
"Yes but... hey it is nice!" Azel held up the
dress. It was a silver one-sleeved gown, simple but
still beautiful. "I want it!"
"NO! I found it first!"
"So?" Ryoko began glowing, very Akane-esquely.
"Um... fine! It's too formal to wear anyways." Azel
stuck her tongue out at Ryoko and continued to rummage
around in the clothes racks.
"You know... it is a bit formal."
"Oh?"
"I'm still getting it."
"Oh."
"I'll just get another one that's not so- eep!"
"What?" Azel looked up to see Ryoko staring off
into the distance. "What is it?"
"Um.. is that Kailan?" Ryoko pointed to a very
happy-looking girl in a green dress and stilettos that
seemed to be flirting with all the guys in the store.
"Oh my..."
"He seems to be having fun with this."
"Too much fun for my liking."
"He doesn't look half-bad..." Azel whirled on
Ryoko.
"What are you talking about? That's frikken scary!
He's a guy and he's having fun as a girl!" Azel
frowned. "How the heck did his bust get that big
anyways?" Ryoko blinked.
"Well that was loud..."
"Hello!" cooed Kailan as he pranced over to the
stunned duo. "How do you like my dress? Quite
fitting don't you think? It doesn't make me look fat
does it?"
"Um... no..." replied Ryoko.
"Aheh.. heh..."
"Good! Do you think I have a nice figure?" He
struck a pose that was unquestionably very feminine.
Ryoko blinked in surprise.
"Kailan... I think you're having too much fun with
th-" Suddenly, Azel clamped a hand over her mouth.
"Shh!" she whispered fiercely. "If he keeps this
up, we'll have an easier time distracting Kuno!" Azel
smiled sweetly at Kailan. "It's a lovely dress! Fits
perfectly!"
"Uh... yeah.. I agree with Azel," stuttered Ryoko.
Kailan curtseyed politely.
"Why thank you!" Kailan giggled. "But now how
will you two be able to top my beautiful self?" Ryoko
raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, hadn't thought of that," pondered Azel.
"That's right! We can't let a guy look better than
us!" Kailan smirked. "We have to get better
dresses!"
"If that were possible..."
"You want to make a bet?"
"Go ahead! If you look better than I, you can date
with me. If I look better than you, you will date
with me." Ryoko blinked yet again.
"It's uncanny how similar this guy is to Kuno..."
"Kuno? Who's he?"
"You'll see," smirked Azel. "But first, Ryoko and
I need to get our dresses. Shoo, Kailan!"
