Biography



On September 14, 1986, Andrew James Trauth was born in Chicago, Illinois to two proud parents and two older brothers. Now 16, AJ is one of today's hottest young stars.

AJ's acting career took off at the tender age of four, when he first decided he wanted to be an actor. Not until he was eleven did his dream really start to become tangible. His mother had not had the funds for acting and modeling school, but he finally got a chance at a career in show business when he joined his school drama class. His teacher saw potential in him, but when a radio announcement for a modeling school got the Trauths' attention, AJ's career took a turn for the better.

The director of John Robert Powers Modeling School is said to be the one that helped AJ be what he is today. After commercials in local Henderson, AJ and his mom moved to Los Angeles, where he could get better work. When they were about to give up on the acting deal, their agent persuaded them to stay in Los Angeles, and AJ finally recieved the part he'd been wanting his entire life. AJ won the part of Alan Twitty on 'Even Stevens' for the Disney Channel.

Four years later, AJ is highly demanded and very charismatic. Surprisingly, even with the limelight on him at all times, he still thinks of himself as a normal, everyday teenager.

AJ's father, Pete Trauth, lives in Las Vegas and owns AJ's Music and Vintage Guiatars on Sunset Road. He thinks seeing AJ on television everyday is like getting to see him every day.

AJ enjoys surfing, swimming, writing songs, singing, anging out with friends, making short films, and basically anything that a normal teenager likes to do.
