When the design specifications for the Smiling Jack SAMAS™ were released an unnamed company requested a SAMAS™ borg with Special Forces deployment in mind. The result is the Special Forces SAMAS™ , also known as the SF-SAMAS™ and Dead-'Borg. The original request and the end product differ slightly, as the end result is more like a panzer-shell that any other type, but it still comfortably fits into the criteria on the request list.
After the release of this 'borg there was an attack on what was the alternate site for the SAMAS™ 'borg research labs which shut down all current construction of SAMAS™ 'borgs (but that doesn't mean that there aren't more SAMAS™ 'borg designed, and it doesn't mean there are either :-) it just means there isn't any more research being done currently).
