Act Two, Scene Six. The Finale.

The remains of the barricade are still there. Roseidous and the other Tri-Leaders run back onstage. They search the edges of the ruins for something.

Roseidous: I know she's here somewhere!

Roses: How could you lose Sally?

Roseidous: She fell out of my pocket. Aha!

He reaches down and pulls something out of the rubble.

Roseidous:
Sally, Sally, I’ve got you now, it’s safe.
Are you alright? I’ll blow you up right now.

He begins to blow up Sally. Secretly, he has picked up and attached an air pump hidden in the ruins to make this go a lot faster.

Ann:
Rosey, dear, she'll be okay, you know.
Thank God, thank God, you just have one of those.

Roses:
It is we who must continue on.
It is John, we have to leave behind.
It's thanks to him we had to fight here.
And again he wasn't smart enough to win.
Fellow Tri-Leaders, let's go home.
Go back to the Camp and maybe have some Oreos
Ann's got some of those.
And then we’ll have some milk.

Holli, Tails:
Now we have learned
How to build a barricade.
So we can make our own
And try it on Tyrael.

Roseidous triumphantly holds up the repaired Sally.

Roseidous:
You're all fixed, Sally, you're going to live!
It was too soon, too soon to say goodbye.

Tyrael:
Please shut up,
I’m tired of hearing about her.
I have a pin.
Watch this.

Tyrael pops Sally. The audience cheers. Tails hugs him.

Tails: I knew you had it in you!

Ann:
On this stage, we sing of our great triumph.
Hear us well, for we shall soon control you.
It's a story of how we beat Lord John again.
And now we can continue with our own plans and ignore him.

Roses:
Follow us, and chains will never bind you.
Disobey, and suffer in the coal mines.
We can either look down on you in mercy
Or punish you and chain you up and make you work forever.

All Tri-Leaders:
We'll take the world, and rule all of its nations
We'll take the people and make them do our bidding.
And remember, the things that you have seen here.
No one can defeat us, no one should dare to try…..

A spotlight appears on John, who is crouching among the ruins of the barricade. His voice is filled with barely controlled mania.

John:
Do you hear the people sing?
Lost in the valley of the night?
It is the music of a people
Who will bow down to my might!
For I will have the world
Even though La Resistance dies
Even this darkened time will end
And my rule will rise!

John hops off of the Barricade and walks downstage, into the center, near the Tri-Leaders. All La Resistancers and everyone else who was in the entire play start to file out and line up behind John and the Tri-Leaders.

They will live beneath my fist
And heed to every word I say
And as for the Tri-Leaders
You know I'll make them pay
I'm John , Lord of Darkness
And I'll own you all someday!

All:
Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond the Barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!
Tomorrow comes!

Curtain drops.
