Re: The  Ist Marikina Kundiman Contest

            The Marist School , in a joint project with the Office of Mayor of Marikina City and the Knights of Columbus Concepcion Council 7631 will be launching a Metro Manila - wide Kundiman contest. It will be held at the historic Kapitan Moy, Sta.Elena, Marikina City  on the  evening of December 14, 2008 in a dinner with  prominent citizens and guests of the city.

            This cultural affair aims to revive the Kundiman, a native Filipino music by way of a  singing contest among representatives of civic organizations from all cities and municipalities in Metro Manila.

            In the spirit of friendship and nationalism through art, we wish to invite your office to send one participant from your City/Municipality.
