Gundam Wing Episode 21

Quatre is intercepted in his drifting mobile suit by a resource satellite crew. He wakes up in their hospital attended by a doctor who promises to find him a shuttle home in exchange for him resting.

An unknown mobile suit approaches Balgi and Trowa suggests testing the Mercurius and Vayeate against it. He also suggests the newly captured gundam pilot (Heero) should use the Vayeate while he takes the other. Nikol is furious that Une agrees with Trowa. The two pilots head out to intercept the approaching MS.

Quatre comes home to one of the colonies in the L-4 cluster, with his doctor in tow. His father, Master Winner, is very upset that Quatre became a gundam pilot against his father's wishes. The doctor, who turns out to be Iria, one of Quatre's 29 sisters, tries to calm their father and also reassure Quatre that his father does care about him and his safety. But there is more trouble on their colony. The citizens feel the best way to protect themselves is to allow OZ to do so, while Master Winner, an ardent pacifist, refuses to allow that to happen. He is all but thrown out of his leadership position as the senate votes to hand over protection to OZ. Quatre and Iria try to navigate the streets through angry mobs that shout, "Down with Winner." Their father, at his wit's end and not wanting OZ to get the resources he worked so hard for, detaches a resource satellite from the colony and plans to either escape or die in it. It is targeted by a beam cannon and Quatre's father is killed. Quatre and Iria, trying to persuade their father to stop, are caught in the wake of the explosion. Iria protects Quatre, but in doing so is killed. At this point, Quatre literally goes crazy, vowing that the people of the colonies (whom he now sees as his enemies) will never forget that day. The he laughs maniacally.
