Gundam Wing Episode 24

Quatre, in the new gundam he's built, approaches a resource satellite and fires on it with the mech's huge beam rifle. It's obvious that something is seriously wrong with Quatre at this point, as he is bent on destroying everything in Space and his emotions and tone of voice are completely flat. What Quatre has done is build the first gundam that the scientists designed: Wing Zero.

The news of the satellites destruction reaches Une in the Space Fortress Balgi, who immediately dispatches Trowa in the Vayeate. He chooses Heero to accompany him in the Mercurius, and the other pilots learn that a gundam pilot is behind the destruction. The scientists, too, are informed and speculate that Quatre has somehow rebuilt a gundam with the Zero System, a brainwave enhancement system that supposedly increases the reflexes and focus of the pilot who uses it. It also supposedly shows the pilot who his "real enemies" are. There's only one strange side effect: if the pilot is not mentally strong enough, the Zero system can literally drive him crazy. (Minor details.)

At the Moon Base, Lady Une leads the mobile suits off the protect OZ holdings from the gundam. After she leaves, Tsubarov seizes control, convinced that Lady Une has gone soft and is not being aggressive enough against the gundams and for the mobile dolls. Feeling that the gundam pilots might stir feeling in people that would lead to dangerous behavior, he makes the decision to cut off the air in the jail cells where the 5 scientists, Duo, and Wu Fei are being held.

Heero and Trowa head for the colony that Quatre has threatened to destroy, but before they can get there, Quatre takes aim at it and the entire colony explodes. The two pilots change course to meet Quatre at the next colony. When he shows up he tells Trowa that since the colonies have armed themselves, they (and everything else in space) should be destroyed. Trowa attempts to talk him out of it, but Quatre aims the bean rifle at Vayeate, seriously damaging it. Heero confronts Quatre and promises to kill him.
