I think most of you have realized that I don't exactly update much on the going ons in my life right now. Only when the event impacted me a lot or amused me to a certain degree that I felt was fun enough to share then only I blog about it. For those wondering why I seldom update about my whole life is because most of it are in the songs that I put up.
Those are my feelings for the day, usually...unless I state otherwise. It's something called "Reading between the lines". Not the School of Rock intepretation of that quote, but the poetic intepretation of it.
Now that we got that cleared up...lol...
I'm having a dastard time of trying to decide what I should do with my life. Psychology is what I'm well...aiming for, but it's like so hard for me to break into it. Frankly I have an image in my mind for years...not that I become a psychologist, but become a lecturer in a university. I have liked teaching and research since I was young. Used to fantasize about it and some of my older books tend to have weird markings on it because of those fantasies. Thing is, to be a lecturer in a university means being real smart and hardworking enough to get a Doctorate, at the very least, unless I'm some kind of undiscovered genius. Another thing that matters is my references and the ever imposing factor of FINANCE!
So now, I'm trying to see what I can do...teaching in primary or secondary level...not really my kind of ideal job. Maybe college...but I want a university. Big dreams I know...
Parents would probably go..."Get a reality check."

A rough go-by of my day yesterday...
Went to CHR to visit some teachers. I didn't see Mr Ho though, he was teaching. Saw Mdm Fong, Miss Yam, Mr Koa (is it spelled like this?), Mr Azman, Mr Seet, Miss Sharifah and the bookshop lady. Wanted to see Brian, but could not since their break was like too late for me.
Then took the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut to meet Jeremy at Plaza Singapura. Well, that'd be the 2nd time I've been there without parents. So met Jer there, and Aunty Lee Chin as well. Ate secret recipe, was a bit weirded out that PS Secret Recipe got no kitchen and the number of microwave ovens were astounding. So guess how the food were cooked? I'm not even going to go into that...nuh uh...not going to think about it. Anyway had Chocolate Banana cake again...one 'healthy' serving. LOL...
So went to Sembawang Music store to search for Match Point DVD, but not out yet. US release is out, but not the SG release, so no DVD in Singapore yet. Ouch...may have to get either Aiai or Jer to buy for me since it'd most likely be M18 without any censorship. Sniff...I hope I get the full product and not the cut one of Singapore.
Then went over to Starhub store and fawned over Jeremy's new phone. Said goodbye to Aunty and went to TIMES BOOKSHOP!!!!!
Stayed there for nearly an hour, bought a new book called "Prep" about a 14 year-old girl who got chucked into a Prep school in USA and what her perspective was about the stereotypes and social ladder. Pretty cool so far...
Finally bought Pilot Dr Grip and Rexgrip pens...together with the refills...LOL...so happy...
Afterwards Jer and I got into my parent's car and headed to the Esplanade for Japanese dinner together with Sister. After secret recipe, jer and i were so full we only had a bit of sushi, sashimi and soft shell crab. Oh, not forgetting the yummy creamy custard pie dessert. Then Jer left, and the 4 of us went strolling under the stars. Took some pictures of Fullerton Hotel and the nightlights of CBD. Went back in at 8pm for WEST SIDE STORY THE MUSICAL! Sat at the edge, had to crane my neck. But the show was worth it, even though I thought the dance choreography for gangs were a bit too 'soft'. The singing was worth it though. And the conductor was interesting. I could see the orchestra playing underneath the stage, and the drummer was not that bad-looking. LOL...Went back home after that.
Oh right..I'm wondering whether I should join doctorjob "Get paid to blog" activity. Hmm...will see how...if I ever decide to go into journalism or something it could be something I can put in my resume. Hmm...

By the time these pictures are up, I would have finish the yummy burger.
^ this is my burger that is already 3/4 eaten. It consisted of two burger bread, two beef patties, egg, melted cheese (yum!) and lots of OIL...pretty nice...but not really that good like the USJ 11 one. Between this and that USJ 11 one, I can finally tell the difference. Oh well...both still taste normal to me.

Jaw ached...TMJ Syndrome acting up...went to the doctor, he said he couldn't do much but to just give me some painkillers. Well, the painkillers did help. After that he said if the pain still persists on, then got to see a dentist for TMJ is under a dentist's coverage. Oh well...I just pray that no great damage is going to happen.
