Ace Young...the guy with the X-FACTOR that simon said...LOL...He's has good looks. That's for sure. And he can sing, that's the whole point. Go watch American Idol Season 5 if you don't know what I'm talking about. I'm hoping for him to be in the top 3.
I think you guys should know why I like him. Hehehe...but other than that point, at least he can sing pretty well. So that's another plus.

You in Me by Juwita Suwito
Everytime I look into your eyes
There's a pleasant surprise awaiting me and amazing me
Somehow I realise I'm so tired of the lies they keep telling me
Telling me I should look down inside to find something greater
When I know I can look at the bright side and find the Creator
I just needs to spend one moment with you
Somehow it's a brand new world I'm passing through
You lift me higher, you let me see
Over the walls that surrounded me
Don't need to prove myself, just need to show and tell
It's you in me
The other day a wolf in sheep's disguise
Told me goodness would buy a day or two for me in Paradise
I could never pay the price, not with a million lives
But it's been done for me
Why would I just depend on myself and pretend I'll find something greater
When I know I can look at the bright side and find the Creator
I just needs to spend one moment with you
Somehow it's a brand new world I'm passing through
You lift me higher, you let me see
Over the walls that surrounded me
Don't need to prove myself, just need to show and tell
It's you in me

As I copy a little of what my cousin had said, it feels like only yesterday that i went through life in secondary school and passing my o'levels.
After everything, went out with Shaun to red box to celebrate. Sang so many songs, realized that the Loh brothers somewhat like Lifehouse, one of my favourite bands ever in history. Then got invited to join his dinner with the family and other friend's family. Had suckling pig...yummy...just got to love the skin man, and boy, the sauce was awesome! Drank a bit too much of red wine, gotten a bit lightheaded, but was not drunk. Had to dunk down 2 glasses of plain water to get the redness out of my face. Went home contented.
Then the day to go back to Subang. Quite a nice trip up here with dad, had a good long talk through the 4 hours ride up. During valentine's day, did nothing much, looked at the couples all around Sunway College, and the valentine booth outside selling flowers, bears and such. There's this particular booth that read "Cupid Kills". Apparently that is a drama production from the school of performing arts + media. May go and watch it since my english teacher recommends it. They are doing scenes from various romantic plays, like Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, etc. You get my drift.
Went for the gym, got a personal trainer. He couldn't believe that I was only 16 going on 17. He thought I was an adult. LOL...Well, gotta work out, because he said I'm not exactly fit. And i guess that's right for I had no stamina whatsoever when i was just sitting down riding the bike. After 10 minutes I was soooooo tired. LOL...
The past week had been rather enlightening. Now I know why God placed some people in you life. There would always be a reason for that. So now I'm trying very hard to do QT. Reading "Pursuit of Holiness" by Jerry Bridges, and when I finished that, I'm going to read through once again, "I kissed dating goodbye" by Joshua Harris. That's one good book I recommend all to read. It connects to your modern life well, really, good for singles and couples as well.
Watched "Match Point" with Ben, and man, it was good. go check out the reviews for this latest Woody Allen show. I know I'm shamelessly advertising for it, but the plot is really really very good. I can't say any of it out now, because it would then spoil the whole movie. You got to watch it for yourself to understand and feel it. It's out in Singapore, NC-16, so minors, please don't try. LOL...Even if you don't want to watch it for the plot, then there are good-looking and talented cast on board. Like Matthew Goode, Scarlet Johansson, Emily Mortimer and my favourite, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. *psst..ben...I don't go for cute guys, I go for hot guys with a personality, no matter how flawed they are. One with no substance is not worth the effort.*
Went for this Love.a.Friend dinner after saturday service. Had quite a fun time especially the supper part. Went to Asia cafe, saw DJ there, he was slightly surprised that I was there. So I went to buy Smelly Toufu to eat. Quite nice, but not as good as the one i took in Hainan Island. The sauce is not strong enough. Then made a new friend. Chatted with Alan, Mervyn, Aaron and Shao Hui (i think i spelt it correct?) about all kinds of stuff. We were talking about Alan reading female magazines like Female, Elle, Nu You, Cleo and such. Me and SH were kinda weirded out by that. Then don't know what happen, we started on girlfriends and boyfriends, husbands and wives. LOL...about loyalty and faith. Whether guys would go for plump girls or not. Posed that question to Alan, he said he would go for slim girls, his reaction about plump ones was so weird, until I stated that, "Hey, you may not know man, God may just set you up, and you find yourself wooing a plump lady. So don't spout too much." Then another question came in:
"Let's say you got married, and your husband cheated on you accidently in the 1st year of marriage. He got seduced for one night by his ex-girlfriend. You only got to know it a year later after two children. What would be your reaction?"
What do you think girls? And how about you guys?
I know I would give him a 2nd chance, and even though I may not forget the incident, and I may be scarred from it. But I know Jesus heals all wounds, as long God is still the centre in our relationship, it will be healed and learnt.
But it's all a matter of perspective ain't it? Some others would say that they would get their husband checked for STDs then decide on what to do. Maybe be financially independent, and get the children out together out of the marriage. But I wonder, will they be able to think rationally when it happens? When they get involved? But I agree, the guy should have declined. I mean, if it was due to a case of being drunk or something along that lines (like date-rape?) then I would understand. The husband should be able to reject, if his wife was in his mind.

"Fade To Grey"
Jars of Clay
It's not hard to know what you're thinking
When you look down on me now
Your trance of love is seeking
To turn this world around
But in my state of blind confusion
No God can pull me out
I see your love is willing
To turn me inside out
And then I see you there
The lonely tears I cry
I wish they'd release me
It's in despair that I find faith
Summon the night to bow down to day
When ignorance is bliss
Save me from myself
And then I see You there
With Your arms open wide and You try to embrace me
These lonely tears I cry
They keep me in chains and I wish they'd release me
Cold is the night but
Colder still is the heart made of stone, turned from clay
And if you follow me
You'll see all the black, all the white fade to grey
Fade to grey
Fade to grey

Got my results for my O'levels. Pretty alright, at least I did better than my prelims, but I just can't help but feel a bit disappointed in my English. I knew that I screwed the paper up bad when I left the examination hall on that day, but in my heart I was still hoping for an A2. Well, now I know the consequence of taking things too easy. At least it was still a B4, and that can get me somewhere. I just felt a bit bad on disappointing my English teacher who had hoped that I would be the one to bring an A for the class. Oh well, what's done's done.
4 As and 3 Bs, no Cs, pretty alright yeah? At least my L1R5 is a 14. Now all I got to do is focus on my AUSMAT coursework and gain a TER of 95.00 and above.
Had a huge fiasco over my hair and sandy's as well. Sprayed it black slightly, but ends were showing red, but in the end, the teachers didn't really care. I guess they were pretty much excited over our results. Christ Church did pretty well in my opinion, considering that most of the students were slacking throughout the year until the last 3 months or so. But I'm glad we were at least above national average.
One particular school that surprised me in having more than one 7As students on the MOE list was Riverside Secondary School. Congratulations to them! To Shaun as well, for getting a single digit L1R5.
Will be meeting him and mayhap brian as well for a little chit-chat over lunch and a movie. I'm hoping to see whether I can visit Technics a little while. And can someone please remind me to eat some Sin Chew Mee Hoon before going back to KL? I really miss that dish that can only be found in dusty, ole' JB.

In Shaun's house now. All the guys are like, trying to prove their machoism...well...it's kind of redundant actually. I mean, it's like all of them have egos and all, and man *rubs hands together* I would love to break it!
Artist: Lifehouse Lyrics
Song: Crown Of Scars Lyrics
forget about the fight to wear the crown of scars
cause you've already won
forget the pain and leave the tears behind you
bury underneath your feet the remains
of what's been left behind
cause you have got a long
long way to run
but now you dance the rest of the way
and you don't look back
can you hear that angel singing
as you rise
now you fly away
and you don't look down now
and you laugh till you can't laugh any longer
as you watch your chains fall to the ground
will you fall against the wall that you have built with your own hands
when you trip upon the thorns that you have tied your legs together with
when you walk upon thin ice that you know you should not be walking
why do you wonder why that you fell through
now you fly away
and you don't look down now
and you laugh till you can't laugh any longer
as you watch your chains fall to the ground
I know you laugh
and show tears
smile down at your fears
from where you are
from way up here
you know
nothing's ever looked so good
nothing ever looked so good
but now you dance the rest of the way
you don't look back
can you hear that angel singing
as you rise
and you fly away
and you don't look down now
and you laugh till can't laugh any longer
as you watch your chains fall to the ground
and you fly away
and you don't look down now
and you laugh till you can't laugh any longer
as you watch your chains fall to the ground
