Journal #2: Describe an argument you recently had what was the out come? How did you feel? My most recent argument was this morning (3/22/04). This morning I took my road test, and passed it. On the way home from Queens, where I had taken the road test, I asked my Dad if I could drop him off at the train station and then take the car to school. At first my Dad’s answer was “no”. I asked why and then he said I could drive to school tomorrow. I asked him what was the difference between me driving today or tomorrow? And he said he just didn’t want me to drive today, and told me that he would drop me off at school. Finally I got him to agree to maybe let me have the car. Then when we got close to Manhasset my dad realized that he could possibly make the train in Manhasset which would save him a great deal of time. So finally he decided to just let me take the car because it would be easier for everyone. So then I got to drive when I wanted to. And I was really happy because I was so excited because I just passed my road test, and now I can drive.
