The course contains a lot of bullshit topics that really don't interest me. I enjoyed the formal specification topic last semester which was about describing mathmatically the parameters of a program, sounds dull and most people thought so but I got really into it. Probably because I thought I was clever learning a subject that looked really difficult having lots of greek letters in the formulas and stuff. I enjoy Languages and their Implementation which I have this semester as well, it's about compilers and pulling appart a language so a computer can understand what's going on.

"Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."
