This really uber cheap costume was made for the sheer fun and quickness of it. I had just finished watching Kare Kano and really really wanted to make a costume from it. Maho was the girl that shunned Miyazawa when she was just begining to show her true self to her classmates....and later became Yukino's friend.
Because the winter costume seemed like a pain (a tailored coat was way over my head). I decided to do the summer uniform because it consisted of a white blouse (check), a blue tie (check), black thigh highs (check), and a blue plaid skirt. So all that was left was a blue pleaded skirt. SUPER EASY! ^_~
My aunt also made the skirt for me so I was very happy to wear three costumes this time during A-kon.
Because it was a little known anime, not many people knew who I was when A-kon came around. ^^;; But it was a fun cosplay because it was super easy to make. So I didn't mind so much...but my thigh highs kept rolling...so I had some difficulty with it...-_-;; But super easy to make and wear. So I can't complain so much.
