Toowoon Bay - Danny and Stan's Album
On Saturday 26 May, as an experiment, Stan and Danny sailed to
Toowoon Bay through The Entrance Channel. As there was no wind in the morning,
Stan fitted his boat with a 3.3hp outboard motor and towed Danny all the way
to Toowoon Bay. After lunch a breeze sprang up and we sailed back to The Entrance,
over the bar and up the channel and home up Tuggerah Lake. The Bar Crossing
is very exciting and tricky. The rest of the trip was easy. We'll do this again
soon and anyone can come. Enjoy the photos (taken with a mobile phone)!
