Another View Of New Jerusalem
It's hard to imagine a city approximately 1500 miles wide, 1500 miles long, and 1500 miles high; but that is exactly what the Bible describes as the Holy City, New Jerusalem. What a glorious sight it must be.
King Of Kings And Lord Of Lords
There are those who think of Jesus, and immediately they think of a weak man who was crucified helplessly. They think of the wounds he received, and they mistakenly think of Him as helpless and weak. This could not be further from the truth. The Jesus we serve is no weakling, He is not helpless nor defenseless. He willingly, knowingly, voluntarily laid down His life and accepted His crucifixion for the sins of the whole world. That, my friends, takes strength. What's more, He then arose from the dead and spent 40 more days teaching His disciples before ascending to Heaven in the sight of all of His disciples at Bethany. No, we do not serve a weak, helpless, defenseless, or even dead Lord. He is Alive, He is Omnipotent, and He is King Of Kings, and Lord Of Lords...
Revelation 19:11-16, "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.  And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. "
