There is no place as spooky as the old Melbourne Gaol, and for spook lovers the gaol runs tours at dusk. This is the prison where the famous bushranger Ned Kelly was hung. His famous amour and deathmask are on display in the gaol.

My Recommendations: I have never visited the gaol myself but have been informed that it is very spooky. The gaol runs a sunset tour, which I think would be the best way to take in the gaols haunting past.
