City Circle Tram

Return To The Menu

The City Circle Tram service provides a free and exciting way to get around the Melbourne CBD. Tourists,
shoppers, and families can use the City Circle Tram to travel to some of Melbourne's major attractions, shops and city
activities.

The City Circle Tram travels around the Central Business District (CBD) and links with other tram, train and light-rail
routes in and around Melbourne, so no matter where you are travelling from or too, you still have quick easy access to the tram. It will take you past  major attractions such as the Old Treasury Building, Parliament House, the MCG, Flinder Street railway station and The Princess Theatre.

To catch the free City Circle Tram service, just wait at any of the specially marked stops on the route. Trams run
in both directions every 10 minutes, seven days a week (except Christmas Day and Good Friday). Trams operate
between 10am and 6pm, with extended hours of operation for selected special events.

More information on the City Circle tram service can be obtained from: The City Circle Tram service, phone the PTC on 13 1638 or visit the Met shop at 103 Elizabeth St, Melbourne 3000.
