This watercolor painting was done by Alison Schroeer - a great textbook illustrator - just for this cover. The concept is taken from Ezekiel 37:5-6 "I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin: I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord". The bat is a Mexican free-tailed bat - the same species of bat heard on the Tourniquet song Bats. This cover perhaps illustrates best the Tourniquet message - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds". Psalm 147:3
