Commemorating the 50th anniversary of Prince Philippe assuming the throne of the Kingdom of Araucania and Patagonia, the Auspice Stella -- a society chartered by the Royal House of Araucania -- has commissioned a commemorative medal available to supporters of the the Royal House of Araucania.The obverse bears the arms of the Royal House along with the words: FILIP REY DE ARAUCANIA Y PATAGONIA -- JUBILEO DE ORO.
The reverse bears the royal crown and the words: INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD -- REINO DE ARAUCANIA Y PATAGONIA -- 1951-2001
The medal is suspended from a ribbon in the colors of the flag of the Kingdom. There is also a miniature version of this medal. The medal was issued with a diploma from the President of the Auspice Stella.
