I was born in Tehran , Iran and am from a Zoarashtrian family ( an ancient religion from Persia, presently called Iran ) .
My parents divorced when I was five years old. Due to this and other stressful family and personal circumstances in my life as a child and an almost fatal car accident , I thought a lot about God & what life is all about . At the age of 10, I came to India to study in a Christian school where I first heard about Jesus. I got myself a Bible and began reading from the gospel of John . In John 14 : 6 Jesus says " I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE , NO ONE COMES TO GOD THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME ." Again in John 11: 25,26 Jesus says " I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE …….. HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE …." . Then again the Bible says in John 3:16 that "Jesus died for the sins of the world so that anyone who believes on Him can have eternal life. "
Now I had never heard any God man or Holy book claim the things that Jesus claimed. So I told Jesus that if I could only be sure of these things I would like to also believe.
One day soon after, I was sitting with other students doing my homework in a classroom . I was doing my work , but could not get my mind off this question of Jesus . Suddenly I became aware of this spiritual presence around me . I saw a vision of Jesus surrounded by light, joy & peace. On the other side of me I saw Satan surrounded by strife , wickedness & death ; and Jesus said to me " choose whom you would serve today " . I chose JESUS
. I shared about salvation through Jesus to many of my elder sister ,classmates , hostel mates , friends and relatives. My elder sister was the next one to be saved and we both began praying that my parents remarry. God heard our prayer and my divorced parents remarried and had two more children . Isn't God so good ? My elder sister , my younger brother and my younger sister are all in the Lord today. Jesus is alive !!
After 25 years I still choose JESUS . Until my dying day , I will still choose JESUS . Simply because , when you take the pros & cons into consideration , JESUS IS ALWAYS THE BEST OPTION . Jesus says in Matthew 11: 28- 30 " Come to me all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek & lowly in heart : and you shall find rest for your souls . For my yoke is easy , and my burden is light . " I find this promise to be absolutely true . Is there anyone else who gives this promises that Jesus gives & KEEPS THEM ?!
The more I read the bible ( and I've already read it quite a few times ) , I am glad I made the right choice. Since I had the vision & the transformation in my life , I've been sharing this good news about Jesus Christ with others.
Today my husband Easo and I minister Gods word with mighty signs, wonders and miracles for the Glory of God, f or the expansion of His Kingdom and that the name of Jesus to be praised through out the earth.
