The Campus
The Tower of Fang is an extremly large academy located on the Island of Perathia. Perathia Island is loated in the very center of the Celestial Bhed; a group of 13 Islands in the shape of a cresent. The Celestial Bhed is know famous for supposedly being the group of Islands the the 'Chryso' inhabited many eons ago....
Perathia Island is somwhat shaped like a star (it has five different points) and every thing located on the Island is part of the Tower's Campus. The only way to get there is by a Flaile-a helicopter looking thingy not only able to fly and land on ground, but also land on water and move on water like a boat. The Flaile landing pad is on the southern left point of the island. The climate here is warm an nice all year round. It is more like an Island resort than anything else. The sky is susually clear and sunny and it hardly ever rains.
On the southern right point is the town of Fang. Its a small town that is pretty much lined with different shops (ie a grocery store, a school store for supplies, a clothing store, a wepon store, ect.) There is also a residental region located in the back of the town .Just a 2 minute walk beyond town will take you to a large, nicely kept beach. A very popular hangout for the enire island, but surprisingly, it never seems crouded because of its large size. The only time students are allowed here is on the weekends, but the residents of the town and faculty always have full access to it. Once and a while, usually before midterm exams, the academy throws a nightime party for the students on the beach.
The left and right points of the island are where the dorms are located. The girls on the left side and boys on the right. Each dorm building is 3 stories high. Each floor for a differnt purpose. The first floor is more like a lounge. Filled with couches and desks, the students go here to study, relax, or just talk with friends. There is also a reception desk where students check in at the begining of their stay to get their room keys and textbooks. The second floor is where the actual dorms are located. This floor has 5 main halls and 3 sets of stairs. Each hall Has around 50 dorms. The Third floor is split in half. The Right half is where the bathrooms, showers, and sinks are located. This place is very clean. The other half is attic space where old desks and traing equipment is kept. The attics are very dimly litted and very creppy. Hardly anyone ever goes up there.
In the very heart of Perathia Island is where the actual Academy is located. The Tower of Fang is a gigantic seven story building that looks like
half-castle, half-mansion. When you walk into the building you will see infront of you a grand staircase leading to the second floor. To the left and the stairs is where the faculty resides and to the right is where teachers hold meetings and where the headmasters office is. It is said that there is a secret stairway leading down to a floor below the basement but noone know whats really down there. The second floor is one big library. It not only contains books but also artifacts from the 'Chryso,' like weapons, tablets and runes. The third floor is the the 'commons'. here you will find the cafeteria in the main room. To the left is the theater and to the right is the gym and locker rooms. The fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh floors are where the class rooms are located.
The Academy and the dorms are all secretly connected. There are four main hidden passageways that only the students know about. The first and second passageway is between the girls and boys dorms. There is fake mirror in the boys dorm 325. That passage way is connected to two different girls rooms. In Dorm 201 the passage is located under the bed and in Dorm 203 the passage is located behind the full length mirror . The second passage way connects girls Dorm number 202 to guys dorm 323 The entrance to this passage is behind the radiator in each room. The third passage is behind the bookshelf 'C' in the libray that takes you to the grocery store in town. (a good way to cut class). And the last passage way is in the boys attic that connects to the 7th floor biology room in the Academy building.
In the back of the building is a very huge training ground where the faculty tests and trains the students magical powers and abilities.
