Weapon and Armor Proficiency: none Special Multiclassing - Like all prestige classes, the charisma master does not bestow any experience penalties for multiclassing. Additionally, the multiclassing restrictions placed on monks and paladins do not apply to the charisma master. Increased Charisma - The charisma master's Charisma score increases by 1. This is in addition to the ability score increases normally gained every 4 levels. Charisma Ability - The charisma master gains a special ability chosen from the following list: -- Greater Turning (SU) Once per day the charisma master can perform a greater turning instead of a regular turning. Undead creatures that are successfully turned with a greater turning are destroyed instead. This ability can be gained multiple times, granting one additional Greater Turning each day. -- Natural Charm (SU) Once per day the charisma master can charm a person (as if using the spell charm person, page 209 core rulebook I). The DC is equal to 10 plus the charisma master's Charisma bonus, plus the charisma master's class level. Use the charisma master's class level to handle all caster level effects. This ability can be gained multiple times, granting one additional use of this ability each day. -- Invoke Fear (SU) Once per day the charisma master can invoke fear in nearby creatures (as if using the spell fear, page 229 core rulebook I). The DC is equal to 10 plus the charisma master's Charisma bonus, plus the charisma master's class level. Use the charisma master's class level to handle all caster level effects. This ability can be gained multiple times, granting one additional use of this ability each day. -- Fearless Leader (EX) The charisma master, and all allies within 30 feet of the charisma master, gain a morale bonus on saving throws against fear effects equal to the charisma master's Charisma bonus. -- Inspiring Leader (EX) Once per day, as a standard action, the charisma master can inspire himself and all allies within 30 feet. Those affected gain a morale bonus on attack rolls equal to the charisma master's Charisma bonus. The effect lasts a number of rounds equal to the charisma master's Charisma bonus. This ability can be gained multiple times, granting one additional use of this ability each day. -- Improve Existing Caster Level An charisma master continues training in magic as well as his field of research. Thus, when this ability is gained, the character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in a spellcasting class he belonged to before he added the meta class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (improved chance of controlling or rebuking undead, metamagic or item creation feats, and so on). This essentially means that he adds one to the level of some other spellcasting class the character has, then determines spells per day, spells know, and caster level accordingly. If a character had more than one spellcasting class before he became an charisma master, he must decide to which class he improves for purposes of determining spells per day when he adds the new level. When applied to a psionic class, this ability will increase the character's power points and powers known as if he had advanced one level in that class. This ability can only be applied to spellcasting classes that use Charisma as its key ability (such as a sorcerer). This ability can be gained multiple times. |
