Today's Toxic Doxologies have undergone many changes & different manifestations over the past 6 years. It could be said that it all began back in a 10th grade geometry class , in which Ashley & Brian happened to come across one another. Ashley reaccounts that the first time he ever saw Brian was when he was lighting his desk on fire(which was only the beginning of their antics).

Their friendship was initially based on their nihilistic nature & general disregard for authority. Among these two was another young man with similar discontents named Tim Taylor. At the time Tim was in a band called Talaria, & can be attributed with interesting Brian & Ashley in joining a band. He had offered to get them into Talaria by first firing their singer at the time Brandon & then bringing in Brian as the Keyboard player. Things seemed to be coming along when the other members of Talaria protested the change in the line up & that was the end of that.

Feeling rejected yet still having the desire to join a band Ashley & Brian began searching for another band to join. It was at that time they ran across Joe (Bass), Ralph (Guitars), & Tristan (Drums) who were then known as Bloody Sunshine.

At that time Bloody Sunshine was more of a grunge rock band. Of course when Brian & Ashley arrived that was soon to change. A complete overhaul was due thus the name was changed to Malificia, a pseudo satanic goth rock band. The original line up of the band had many personalitiy clashes, thus the lineup for the band was changed after a mere three months of its induction.

The name stuck but the new band consisted of the following members: Tommy (Drums), Jackie (Guitars), Andy (Bass), Brian (Keys) & Ashley (Vocals). This line-up for the band had a ton of potential but basically went nowhere due to the constant drug use within its ranks. Frustration and a total lack of progress caused this band to eventually dissolve.

It was at this time when Ashley became deeply involved with heroin and Brian went on to persue other goals. Then in December of 1996 tragedy struck when Sarah Krantman Ashley's fiance(As well as the person who helped him to beat his heroin addiction) took her own life on the night of the 24th. Devistated Ashley would not leave his house for weeks and cut off all ties to the outside world except one, the internet. It was through the net that Ashley & Brian found one another again in the summer of 1997. Of course there was no talk of a band just a return to their misanthropic behavior.

So it came to be when October of 1998 rolled around that Leviathan 12 was born. This band's original line up consisted of the following D. Levi (Guitars), Brian Zomby (Keys), Gory Ampere (Drums & Sequencing), & Ashley Lafayette Steele (Vocals). A bass player named Malakia Nihasa eventually joined the band but as quickly as he came, he also left.

Through much of 1998 & 1999 the band did nothing, which can be attributed to the same reasons/problems that the former band had. Eventually D. Levi left the band in mid 99', leaing Ashley, Brian & Gory to buckle down to try to save the band. It was from that time till then end of 1999 which most of the material for The Synaptic Rebirth was spawned.

When 2000 rolled around Leviathan 12 became Toxic Doxologies. From that point on the greatest challenges & most physically & emotionally damaging events occured leaving many broken and bruised in its path. Through it all they have continued to strive for greatness to achieve their great destiny.

15/05/01 - UNDERLAND PRIVAT

There were ten minutes left till we went on and I went in the back to change out of my clothes and into my stage outfit. The outfit consisted of black underwear, boots, and a funnel convering my front side and representing my, errr phallus. I had an ankh drawn on my chest and various other marks drawn over my body.

When I was all suited up I walked out back of the club and dounced myself in water, then a box of corn starch(They have a big black light and I wanted to glow in it). After that I walked out and onto the stage and the madness began.

I started the show with the American Flag hanging from the Phallus and me saluting it doing the spoken word song Trauma. At the end I screamed and broken the stick holding the flag in half. At that we broke into Pieces(The egyptian sounding song) and at the end where the women are constantly crying I gave a little bit of an adlib and screamed out "Lets hear it for suffering Underland Privat!!" I got a stir out of some younger people there.

After that I took one up the ass (Not literally) but I mentioned my friends band helping us out at this particular show and their show on the following saturday.

After that we broke into Beyond Desolation, and at one point I felt tears welling up, because I felt the feeling I had originally written the song with. At that point I sort of realized I would never be the same after the show, because everything I had been doubting was now real, everything I felt couldnt be questioned anymore.

After that we started into Disordered Heaven, and at the end of the song I screamed out a cryptic, "I died here tonight Underland Privat, and Im born again in all of you..." It was creepy.

After that we started to play Amnesty for my friend Samantha(Who didnt make the show...it made me really sad) and I screamed so hard at one point I couldnt breathe and I just kept screaming. I screamed until I almost threw up. And at the end I added something I cant remember now, but there was a pause between songs because I was crying at this point. I wish she could have seen it.

After that we did Medicated and I ripped up a bible just a little bit and threw it to people in the crowd screaming, "Rip that motherfucker up." They did too for a very long time, it was at this point when I took out a replica of a real gun and started putting it in my mouth and pointing it at the sky, or the roof as the case may have been.

I screamed, "This ones for you god." and pulled the trigger. I screamed, "This ones for me," and pulled it again, and through the process of the song I fired it 9 times and there are ten chambers in the weapon, which would come into play at the end of the show.

I put the gun down and impaled a star with the american flag on it onto the phallus, and then ripped the phallus off of the costume. There was still two more songs to play so I grabbed a glow stick and shoved it into what was left of the contraption covering my front and it appeared I had a glowing you know what!

So at the end of the Apocalyptica (the first of the last two songs) we broke into our final song, Negatonic Symphony. The microphone died at one point and I screamed out the last half of the song, and then had someone come on stage and announced I was to be executed for crimes against humanity.

They took the gun and were very nervous because remember this chamber has ten round s and finally he pulled the trigger and I dropped at the end of the song with singing children came on and faded...
