February 22 I was an asshole today. It was like I was sitting on the sidelines, only able to watch the action not stop it. I think maybe it's just TAKS that threw me off. I felt horrible when I went home in the afternoon, the kind of feeling that sticks to the gut of your stomach like mushy rice. Don't know what was up... Also watched "company of soldiers" on PBS. Very educational. It shows how horrible it would be, to die without knowing. Just be talking to someone then a bullet finds a home in your head. Dead. No good-byes or even knowing what happens. Just Death. I want to be a SEAL even more now after watching it. Plus, if swimming doesn't get a scholarship(which chances are looking slim) I can become a seal and get college paid for. Well, off to bed. |
